About this event
We will be holding the first of our monthly series of TEDxGreenvilleSalons at Long Branch Baptist Church. The theme of this event will be "Health Within".
Pastor Sean Dogan of Long Branch Baptist Church serves Greenville's resurgent Sterling Community. For years, Pastor Dogan has presided over countless funerals of people within his community who succumbed to various preventable, health-related illnesses. He noticed that some of the foods that were served at church functions were foods that have been noted to contribute to the various health challenges. Long Branch is now leading a new way forward and providing a shining example of how other churches and organizations can help promote lifestyle choices that lead to healthier people, healthier families, and healthier communities. It's an "Idea Worth Spreading" happening in the heart of our community.
