It’s no secret that we face serious challenges in education. And it’s not hard to find stories and opinions about the shortcomings of our schools and who should be blamed. The conversations we have about education in our community tend to focus solely on what’s not working. It’s time for us to change that.

On March 28th, a diverse group of Charlotte citizens will share stories about extraordinary partnerships in education that ARE working – right here, right now. These stories will highlight a number of programs involving businesses, faith-based groups, non-profits, and schools that are preparing Charlotte area students to live and work in the 21st century. These partnerships demonstrate the possibilities for impacting our students, our community and our future.

Interested in how you can positively impact the lives of our students? The morning TEDx talks will be followed by an optional afternoon session of dynamic roundtable discussions to learn how to engage with the programs described by the speakers.
