About this event
Each month up to 100 young people from across Perth attend to watch inspiring talks from TED.com by the world’s most fascinating thinkers and doers, as well as live, home-grown speakers with world-changing ideas to share.
Bernadette Jiwa is the author of 'You Are The Map Maker'. She's a brand catalyst, who shows leaders how to be heroes and make their ideas matter. Her talk was entitled 'Where have all the heroes gone?'
Michael Sheldrick is the Global Poverty Project Campaign Manager, with a background in advocacy, campaigning and policy formulation. Michael has worked on numerous high impact campaigns, including the Oaktree Foundation's 2010 Make Poverty History Roadtrip. His talk was entitled 'The end of polio'.
Carlo Bellini is a wandering doctor with a passion for thinking big and doing things differently. Born and bred in Perth, he completed medicine at the University of Western Australia but his interest at the intersection of healthcare, business and technology led him to pursue an MBA at the University of Oxford and the Graduate Studies Program at Singularity University. He is currently based in the sunny city of Melbourne with the Boston Consulting Group. His talk was entitled 'What about tomorrow?- A few ideas from Singularity University'.
