In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Aashish Allu

Aashish Allu is a junior at Lafayette High School in Wildwood Missouri. Throughout high school, he has been actively involved in advocacy for many different issues, but he is most passionate about mental health reform. Recently, he has helped pioneer the creation of Mission Mental Health Awareness, a coalition of students and adults around the community committed to engendering change regarding mental health among individuals, specifically students, in the community

Bryan Banks

Bryan Banks, a native of Orlando,FL and founder of Go Another Level Inc; launched his first company and became a full-time entrepreneur at age 19. He’s dedicated his life to helping people and brands grow through high-performance brand marketing and entrepreneurial teachings. His marketing expertise and passion for inspiring others to reach goals has allowed him to create successful results across multiple industries. Bryan grew up as the oldest of 4 boys; while his father served over 20 years in prison and his mother worked multiple jobs to provide for him and his brothers. He recently launched “Get Like Me” - a patented augmented reality app that creates innovative ways for users to control 3D avatars & for brands to connect with their audiences. Over the course of eighteen years, 9 cities, and 20 locations; Bryan has created thousands of business owners across the country. He now resides in Nashville, TN with his wife of fourteen years and he plans to always go another level.

Darshan Shah

Dr. Shah is a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation resident physician at Penn State Hershey with goals of practicing Integrative & Functional Medicine. He is the co-host of the Medicine Redefined podcast, a Top 50 Instagram Doctor to follow, and a medical school coach. His passion and purpose had led him to teach about lifestyle and mindset optimization and how we all can strive to be 1% better every day. In his free time, you’ll find Dr. Shah working on self-growth whether it is in the gym, reading a book, meditating, traveling and trying new foods with his wife, or enjoying his sleep!

Mayly Zhinin

Ms. Mayly is currently a senior in high school. She is a former Children’s foster care youth and she is a domestic violence survivor.

Tim Randolph

Tim R. Randolph, Ph.D., MT(ASCP) is a tenured, Associate Professor in the Department of Clinical Health Sciences, Doisy College of Health Sciences at Saint Louis University He received a bachelors degree in Medical Technology from the University of Illinois at Springfield, formerly Sangamon State University, in Springfield, Illinois in 1983; a Master of Science in Medical Technology from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond in 1987 with an emphasis in clinical hematology and experimental immunology; and a doctorate (PhD) in Hematology from Warnborough University where he developed a new diagnostic test for sickle cell anemia to be used in developing countries. Dr. Randolph spent most of his career in the Department of Biomedical Laboratory Science at Saint Louis University in St. Louis, MO. Dr. Randolph currently teaches and coordinates courses in the areas of hematology, hemostasis and thrombosis, and research methods. He conducts research and publishes in the areas of hematology and hemostasis and he maintains an ongoing research agenda investigating hemoglobinopathies such as sickle cell and hemoglobin C, typhoid, STDs, and other medical conditions in Haiti, the development of novel diagnostic testing for underdeveloped countries, and he studies sickle cell trait in the US. He is active in the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science and is a frequent presenter at local, state, and national levels. Dr. Randolph is also founder and president of Randolph World Ministries, Inc. a medical mission ministry that establishes and develops medical services in existing clinics in Haiti.
