This event occurred on
September 11, 2020
Cape Town, Western Cape

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Ntalasha Gladys Mwansa

Ntalasha Gladys Mwansa describes herself as a Zambian by Nationality but an African by circumstance. After living in four African countries, she concludes that it is a Chess-playing world against a Checkers-playing Africa. She, as a 21 year-old amateur but passionate Chess-player, undergraduate student of mathematics, and the host of the podcast & YouTube Channel- “The Glad Report” dedicated to challenging the status quo and answering questions about African economics, feels justified to reason the rationale required to join the world in its upward chess-playing trajectory.
