About this event
The history of play is as old as the history of civilization itself. People play not for just having fun, but also for teaching, passing down traditions to the next generations, practicing life-skills, and and ultimately, living life itself.
TEDxBandung awares of the fact that it is impossible to separate playing from our life. Instead, we decide to celebrate it. We will invite two “serious player” from Bandung -- a board game creator and a digital game artist -- to share their experiences and thoughts about playing.

Eko Nugroho believes that game must be educating as well as entertaining. He puts his faith of game -- particularly board game -- into Kummara, a pioneer of board game scene in Indonesia while he also serves as its creative director -
Wiradeva Arif
For Wiradeva "Devon" Arif, game is always be his world. Now Devon make a living by founding Agate Studios, a game studio that dreams to make life a merrier one and spread it to everyone in the world.
