TEDx Dupree Park is a daylong get together of awesome people, brilliant speakers, and mind-blowing conversations. This day-long festival of inspiring ideas and conversations is being held on November 20, 2020, in downtown Woodstock Georgia, at Madlife Stage & Studio, 8722 Main Street, Woodstock Georgia 30188

Our Vision: We believe that across the globe community elders, leaders, and all people must come together, step forward to fiercely and eloquently speak their hope and passion for the future of mankind. These ancient Greek words were our inspiration for creating TEDx Dupree Park, Woodstock:

“Great societies flourish when elders plant trees they know they will never sit under.”

The TEDx Dupree Park Team believes that as we one by one become re-inspired through this TEDx event by our articulate, idea-driven speakers, and our selflessness, working together in harmony, we will awaken to the seeds of greatness within each of us. And we will remember our story of oneness with all humanity, animals, nature, and this communal blue dot we all call home, we will blossom, grow stronger, and become closer together as a team, a community, a people, and a world.

Chris Lowe

Kindness Activist
I’m a 52 year old single Mom of 3, an entrepreneur and eternal optimist. On July 26th, 2017, I lost my only son Hudson, to suicide. On July 26, 2019, his 2 year angelversary, I set out in a 32 foot RV on a 35 day, 30 state Kindness Tour. This trip was to honor my son by doing 22 acts of kindness a day, in honor of his 22nd birthday that he was spending in Heaven. When Hudson was a high school student, he won a speech competition with a speech titled Fall Forward. This has since become his legacy and has been the catalyst for my speaking engagements and everything surrounding his story. I have inspired thousands of students and parents alike because of Hudson’s loss and I hope to continue to help others to know their worth because of Hudson.

Daniel Schneider

Pharmacist
I'm 70 years old and believe sharing my hard found wisdom will benefit others. I had great parents and great family. We lived in an area that was called God's Country. I was an all district Tackle on my HS football team. I married my high school sweetheart , Annie, in 1971. She worked, I went to Pharmacy School and worked part-time. I became a Pharmacist in 1975 and she became a stay at home Mom. Our son Danny was born 9/27/76. Lil Danny was a blond haired blue eyed beautiful boy. He brought us much joy. Our daughter Kristi came along in 1980 and completed what many called the Griswald family. On 4/14/1999 our life changed. Our son was murdered while trying to buy drugs. Our story was told in in the Netflix docuseries "The Pharmacist". Now we are trying to build a nationwide movement to end the Opioid and Addiction Pandemic that has killed nearly a million since since my son died. I call our Mission "The Tunnel of Hope", as we hope to bring light to this dark National Tragedy.
