Adrienn Nagy

Music industry expert
Adrienn is a music industry expert who has been working mainly among men for 15 years. As a general manager of one of the biggest Hungarian rock bands QUIMBY, she manages the staff of approximately 25 men. During her career, she has worked for prestigious music clubs, festivals and a publishing company. For her, music is freedom and the strongest form of magic.

András Kertész

Father, coach, change designer
András Kertész is a coach and change designer who became a father at the age of 40. He strives to live a life where work, relationship and parenting are all in balance and every member of the family has their own personal time. Is it possible to stop for an entire day in the middle of the week? András has been practicing this for over a year: he has introduced the habit of a special father-and-son day every Wednesday. In his talk, he shares his experiences and lessons.

Anna Ott

As a teenager, Anna Ott got addicted to reading books, and ever since she has been an enthusiastic reader. After receiving her university degree, she has become a program manager, later cultural leader of a prestigious literary cafe in Budapest. Anna is a key influencer who organizes and manages literary programs and promotes reading books in social media. She is followed by several 10k followers who are inspired by her example in reading books.

Bertalan Sugár is a yoga instructor who dedicates himself to lifelong learning and self improvement. He had started his career on the stage: from a very young age, he played in theaters and published records. It took a long time for him to admit that he should stop chasing his childhood dream. He quit his false role and found his new calling in the philosophy of yoga.

Boglárka Bódis

Fashion designer
After a ten years' career in the public administration as an economist Boglarka Bodis went back to school to fulfil her childhood’s dream to become a fashion designer. Her brand Elysian was launched in 2012 and since then she has been working on showing women by her designs how to be strong and fragile at the same time. Work hard in silence and let your success be the noise – these words motivate her day by day.

Eszter Ónodi

Actress
Eszter Ónodi is one of the most popular and well-known actresses in Hungary, awarded several times both by movie industry professional organizations and the audience. She is an authentic actress who is also appreciated by the press. She has been a staff member of Katona József Theatre in Budapest for over 20 years. In addition, Eszter has played in numerous movies. Her acting in the series 'Aranyélet' ('Golden Life') was a huge success recognized by many awards. Recently, she has entered the world of music, singing well-known rock hits at live concerts.

Jazzation Várallyay Katus

Mother of two and of Jazzation, Katus conceived the idea of founding Jazzation at the age of just nineteen, and her dream has come true assuming the form of Hungary’s number one jazz a cappella band. Jazzation has already wound its way into international jury’s hearts, but what they feel most proud is having shared the stage several times with wonderful vocal groups and experts from all around the world. The multi-award-winning ensemble unites five outstanding singers who seek harmony as a lifestyle, creating a safe ground for experimentation, improvisation and self-expression. Katalin Dr. Lőrinc

Dancer
Katalin Lőrinc, a graduated classical ballet dancer, turned soon towards contemporary ideas and ways of performing. She studied contemporary skills in Brussels at Maurce Béjart’s Mudra and later in London. Meanwhile she became member of Cullberg Ballet in Stockholm (S), than that of Pécsi Balett (H), followed by Tanztheater Wien (A). She started her teaching carrier at the Luxemburg Conservatoire, from where she returned to Hungary in 1991. She gave birth to 3 children. Then she worked as a freelance choreographer, teacher and took part in theoretical activities. She graduated as a journalist in 1997. In 2000 she returned to the stage as an independent performer. She is a member of important organizations and dance/theater advisory boards. As a DLA prof., she works as faculty leader at the Hungarian Dance Academy, and leads diverse projects both in the educational and the professional dance field.

Katarina Durica

Katarina Durica is a journalist, author of 3 books, mother of 3 kids. Her works have focused on untold stories of women: victims of the maffia, mothers of soldiers, survivors of communists, actors of sex tourism, or simply, how womanhood is constructed in the 21st century.

Krisztina Somogyi

Architectural critic, editor, visual environment researcher
Krisztina Somogyi is an architectural critic, journalist and visual environment researcher. She is the chief editor of the Hungarian architecture portal 'Építészfórum'. As an expert of visual communication, she is passionate about sharing the processes of buildings and design. She approaches the person/environment fit from an environmental psychology aspect. As a Hungarian delegate of Architecture and Children – UIA Built Environment Education Network, she supports activities related to built environment education. In her talk she explains why it is of key importance to watch and see school buildings through the children's eyes and how we can form their sense of responsibility. Ultimately, this is how we can form the built environment around us.

Luca Nyáry

Slam poetry artist, writer
At the age of 15, Luca won the first slam poetry contest she entered. Since then, she has published slams and poems in five books. Luca is often invited to perform her poems at various events. In 2019 she published her first novel.

Magdolna Singer

Writer, grief counselor
Magdolna Singer is an author, journalist, mental hygienist and grief counselor. Magdolna is a mother of four children with a rich life path. She worked as a window display designer for 15 years. She got her first university degree at the age of 48 and published her first book at 43. Since the age of 55, she has written another 17 books. Magdolna has become a well-known grief counselor and expert nationwide. She inspires people in their forties or fifties not to give up and be brave enough to start anything new they have dreamt of.

Natasa Kovalik

Horse-assisted self awareness trainer
After winning an award as the Make-up Artist Of the Year, Natasa Kovalik quit her successful career in the movie industry to find a new profession. She facilitates experiential learning programs for humans with the help of horses. (EAL) She shows people how being and interacting with these wonderful pray animals can transform emotions, expectations, disharmony into something true, honest and authentic.

Nikolett Blaskó

Communications expert, CEO
Nikolett Blaskó is a communications expert, an influential female professional in the advertising industry in Hungary. She is the board member of numerous key organizations. Nikolett is the founder and CEO of ACG Budapest, a leading advertising agency in Hungary. She is a passionate supporter of young talented women in business, design and the fashion industry.

Orsolya Vásárhelyi

Data scientist
Orsolya Vasarhelyi is a PhD candidate in Data Science. She is passionate about using data science tools in diversity and inclusion research. She is an educator and a feminist who believes and stands up for diversity. Orsi is an active organizer of the international conference series Women in Data Science in Budapest and mentors women who want to learn programming. Her vision is to promote the use of knowledge hidden in data to solve social problems.

Panka Horányi-Pirók

Hungarian folk dance teacher – Master's degree
Panka graduated at the Hungarian Dance Academy. Together with her husband, she co-founded an initiative called "Intensive Folk Dance" where they teach folk dance to adults. So far, they have helped over 1000 people get closer to folk dance, traditions and the underlying values.

Szilvia Király

Student
Szilvia Kiraly started working in a stem cell laboratory at the age of 15. She won the National Innovation Contest for Youth a year later and was selected to the 30 Under 30 Forbes Hungary in 2018. She continued working in several laboratories beside studying biomedical sciences at University College London. Not only is her aim to become a researcher but she also wants to inspire young, talented students to conduct scientific research during their high-school years.

Szilvia Varró

Communications strategist, Pulitzer Memorial Prize-winning journalist
For 17 years, Szilvia Varró was an enthusiastic journalist who passionately sought after and discovered the causes of injustices and tried to understand how political stakeholders and societies work. After winning a Pulitzer Memorial Prize, she quit journalism and founded her own company. Since then Szilvia has been running her communications consultancy and has continued to learn about societies. Recently, she has been studying futurology and AI. In her talk, she connects the past, the present, and the future.

Viki Lábas

Singer, songwriter
Viki Lábas is a talented young singer and songwriter and the leader of Margaret Island, a Hungarian band. She has a university degree in ethnology. Founded in 2014, the popular band has won a number of awards in the music industry. Viki was acknowledged as Female singer of the Year in 2017 in Hungary.

Zsófia Pirók

Professional flamenco dancer, Best Female Dancer of the Season (2019) - Award
Zsófia graduated as the first international student at the Conservatorio Profesional de Danza in Sevilla specializing in flamenco. Since then, she has presented new shows every year both in Hungary, organized by the National Dance Theatre, and in other countries worldwide. In 2019, Zsófia Pirók has received the Award for the Best Female Dancer of the Season from the Association of Hungarian Dancers.

Zsuzsa Dr. Kaló

Psychologist, drug researcher
Zsuzsa is a psychologist, linguist, university professor and drug researcher. Her main topic is researching and developing interventions for girls and women who use substances. She believes that a bio-psycho-social approach is needed both in research and treatment of addiction.

Zsuzsanna Dr. Aschenbrenner

Pediatrician, family counselor
Zsuzsanna is a pediatrician with a psychosomatic approach. As a parent-infant/toddler counselor she is an expert of babies' and mothers' souls. As a couple and family therapist candidate, she is an expert of families. She is passionate about lifelong learning and self-improvement. Zsuzsanna is a mother of five, and also an entrepreneur. During her work she helps and consults families with infants and toddlers.
