In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Fatimah Almutawa

Student
Hi I’m Fatimah Almutawa. If you would ask me about the concept that intrigues me the most, I’d definitely say space. It includes the multiple meanings this word expresses; space-time, Euclidean space, negative space, etc. I like to observe the way we live in, interact with, and alter space. In my speech, I explore the trivial location we have in space and how our mere existence can influence the way we approach design on Earth.

Fatimeh Fatimeh

Student
My name is Fatima. And when I was 11 years old I wrote a passionate email to Jarir bookstores about all the environmental damage they could avoid with very minor adjustments to their procedures. I believe that's what led me to write this speech explaining climate change and its effects.

Gala AlFhaid

student
Hi, my name is Ghala. A person who loves reading and writing a lot. It makes me feel like I am in a whole other dimension filled with imaginations. Writing makes me happy because I can express my emotions whenever and wherever I want. I also love exploring places and making adventures to change the world to the better. So I will be taking you to an adventure of shocking facts on August 8, 2020.

Mennah Mohamad

Student
I'm Mennah. It means a gift, but I believe that the whole universe is a gift. I'm so tiny in a vast world that is poking me to have it explored. Though I haven't started exploring yet, I have a vision that I'm sure it will allow me to do my mission. Stay tuned to know about it in my Ted talk.

Mona AlJasem

Student
Being the first school’s TEDx to be held in the Eastern Province, TEDx AlAnjal National School was first held in 2016. Every since then, TEDx was the way for AlAnjal students to bring their ideas and visions to life. Five years later, TEDxAlAnjalNationalSchools has dealt with themes such as “Success Secret Combination”, Saudi Behind Oil”, “Education”, and many many more. It continues to be a unique opportunity for shaping students’ futures and enriching their skills along the way.

Munirah Alhmiali

Student
ello, I'm Munirah. Since I am only 16, there's a tremendous part of the world that I can't wait to uncover! I believe that taking wagers and stepping out of my comfort zone would enlighten me in a way or another, no matter how severe the consequences may be. Lastly, I will always hope to succeed a lot of accomplishments in order to feel satisfied and to be proud of myself whenever I look back to those accomplishments in the future.

Nebila Dhieb

Transformative Educators
Here's my bio. Not knowing how short it can be, feel free to edit/shorten as you see fit: I have always had a passion for helping people get unstuck, and marvel at people’s ability to bounce back and claim who they are in life when given the right guidance. With a PhD in applied linguistics, and more than 25 years in training, teaching, and mentoring thousands of people from the corporate and all walks of life, I’ve seen people with all the prerequisites to succeed... yet they did not. And others who have absolutely nothing, yet they beat the odds and succeed to get what they want in life. This led me to believe there is more to it than formal education, degrees and certificates. Success is 5% skillset and 95% mindset. Since then, I’ve dedicated my time to helping people just like you crack the code and realize their full potential & start living the life they know they could be living.
