In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Teju Abisoye

Mrs. Abisoye is a lawyer with extensive experience in development finance, project planning, execution, monitoring and evaluation of humanitarian projects, government interventions and investment opportunities. She is currently the CEO and Executive Secretary of Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF).

Tobi Eyinade

Tobi Eyinade is the founder of RovingHeights Books and graduate of English from Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife.

Yewande Kazeem

Yewande Kazeem’s passion for inquisitive questioning, creative visuals, storytelling and her vast experience in the agriculture sector allowed her to create Wandieville Media, a communication and educative media company she founded to provide a positive impact on global development issues through campaigns, powerful visual and captivating stories. A graduate of the University of Oklahoma, she has also worked closely with Central Bank of Nigeria, Bank of Industry, World Bank, the International Finance Cooperation and Nigeria’s Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Trade and Investment and Central Bank. Yewande is passionate about impacting smallholder farmers, women farmers and school planting programs as well as supporting the research and technology that will be needed to feed nine billion people by 2050.
