Theme: Big World, Small World
Hong Kong, Hong Kong
November 20th, 2011
About this event
The theme of our TEDxYouth@Hongkong 2011 is Big World, Small World. It is a Big World where there is no limitation to the potential of the human kind. It is a Small World where there is no distance between people. The sub-themes of TEDxYouth@Hongkong 2011 are “Breaking Free”, “Unseen Perspectives”, “Think and Rethink”, and “Society in Harmony”. As evident from the themes, the event is focused on inspiring our audience to dream big and follows the TED’s core philosophy of sharing Ideas Worth Spreading. The event will feature 18 talks and performances.
Building on the strength of the first TEDxYouth@Hongkong last year, TEDxYouth@Hongkong 2011 will double its reach to serve over 200 young people.
