Theme: The Nature of Being

This event occurred on
March 30, 2019
Madison, New Jersey
United States

be·ing
(noun) existence; being alive; the essence of a person

When we think of the nature of us humans, it is all of us who exist in this universe interacting and depending on one another in ways that form a pattern. This pattern describes the way we live and the way things are, as they progressively change from time to time. With the political, environmental, and technological turmoil of the past few years, the nature of living hasn’t been at its best state. We seem to have lost the essence of 'being.'

For TEDxDrewUniversity in 2019, we’re joining that search for deeper meaning. Reflecting on experiences that form and shape our identity; stories that connect us with other human beings and Mother Nature; responsibilities that give us meaning and purpose; ideas that are truly worth fighting for, worth living for. Join us as we rediscover what it means to 'be.'
