TEDx Sacramento is back! After bringing you three amazing events in 2009 and 2010, we are proud to bring you even more in 2012. After a much needed hiatus, we are back and re-envigorated to bring more Ideas Worth Sharing from around the country to Sacramento, while simultaneously bringing Ideas Worth Sharing from Sacramento to the global stage.

You are cordially invited to take part in this immersive, all day experience, from 9:00 - 6:00, held at the Crocker Art Museum in Downtown Sacramento on Friday, August 31, 2012. Our most anticipated event yet will offer you a chance to “check out” from the day-to-day routine and go on an intellectual journey with 300 smart and curious friends to a world filled with brilliant speakers, captivating performances, amazing new technology, and thought-provoking short films. This year, we have speakers as diverse a National Geographic photographer, a robotics designer, the trainer behind Seal Team 6, speakers from Denmark and Uganda as well as some of our region's greatest minds; speakers on Game Theory and running, on innovation, memory, achievement, sustainability and more! Some have spoken to audiences all over the world, while others have been working quietly on ideas that the world needs to hear.

Seating is extremely limited and is available on a first-come, first-served, basis. We recommend that you register as soon as possible so that you are able to attend. Lunch will be served.

Soon after registration, you will receive an email asking you for additional information so that we may prepare your badge(s), as well as information about the event's custom mobile app and online community. It is important to us that like-minded people from around the region, people who are passionate about ideas, about change, about our fair city, become connected through our event.
