Theme: Reach Out!

This event occurred on
April 10, 2018
Harrisonburg, Virginia
United States

On Tuesday, April 10th 2018 in the Memorial Auditorium the TED stage will be making its return to JMU for the third installment of its college series! In the spirit of this year's theme Reach Out! we are now doing likewise, inviting you to join us for a night of inspiring ideas and individuals unlike anything in Harrisonburg. Focusing on the importance of collaboration, common ground, and connection to achieve progress, this year's speakers consist of two students, two professors, and two professionals whose experiences touch on everything from the DACA program and the Ukrainian conflict to the divide of spirituality and the cosmos. In addition to the talks, there will also be special prizes, gift bags, and other TEDxJMU merchandise passed out on site!
