In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Anna Bennich Karlstedt

Psychologist
Anna Bennich Karlstedt is the well known psychologist that has been frequently featured on Swedish television. In media, Anna has been talking about everything from speaking in front of people to Christmas stress. She is now doing a mix of making appearances on TV, meeting clients, working with human resources and writing a book.

Annika Östberg

Author
28 years. That is how many years Annika Östberg spent in American prison, convicted of murder of a restaurant owner and a police officer in 1981. Annika has written books, held lectures about her time in prison and been a host at “Sommar” on Sveriges Radio.

Ashkan Fardost

Scientist
Ashkan Fardost is a scientist, investor, adviser and a global speaker. His mission is “to inspire change and help you leverage technology and digitalization”. This will be Ashkan’s third TED talk as he has previously been invited to TEDxBerlin and TEDxÖstersund.

Charlie Bech-Jansen

Student
Charlie Bech-Jansen, born and raised in Stockholm. Came out as non-binary transgender at 17, has since been an active member of the Swedish LGBT+ society. Has previously studied literature, philosophy and astronomy, and is active in everything from Scout- to Japanese culture societies.

Leo Razzak

Social entrepreneur
Leo Razzak is a social entrepreneur that is active in a range of industries. He has worked as a journalist for Sveriges Radio, been a part of Fryshuset and it’s development and is the founder of the organization Banglabarn. Leo is today one of the most attractive lectures in Sweden.

Oskar Kihlborg

Adventurer
Oskar Kihlborg, together with his friend Mikael Reuterswärd, were the two first Swedes reaching the top of Mount Everest in 1990. Since then, Oskar has finished a long list of adventures, making him one of the most experienced and respected adventurer, photographer and lecturer in Sweden.
