In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

YardenKedem and Noam Tamir

Yarden is 14 years old and attends “ORT Ironi Dalet” School in Modi'in. Yarden is a member of the Student Council of her school and chairperson of the events committee. She is also a member of the youth movement Hanoar Haoved Vehalomed. Together with Noam Tamir, they won first place in the Israeli youth entrepreneurship competition of the Ministry of Economy and Industry. Noam Tamir is 14 years old and attends “ORT Ironi Dalet” School in Modi'in. Noam studied in the science-engineering class and has been studying drama for the last 10 years. Together with Yarden Kedem, they won first place in the Israel Ministry of Economy and Industry's Israeli Entrepreneurship Competition.

Eliav Markowitz

Eliav is 13 years old and attends the “Machon Lev: Torah and Science” High school in Jerusalem. Passionate about social justice, he initiated a crowdfunding campaign with the “Count Me In: Beyachad” NGO and Jgive, in honor of his bar mitzva, to empower the inclusion of children with special needs in Israeli Society. Eliav succeeded in raising over 30,000 NIS to enable five children to successfully integrate into “regular” schools and their communities. The campaign was featured across the Israeli media and was adopted by “Count Me In: Beyachad” as a permanent campaign to provide the resources and support necessary for children with disabilities to be fully and successfully included in our world. An actor and voice over artist currrently shooting a leading role in a movie (“Tfila”), Eliav also plays advanced recorder and is an avid Manchester United fan.

Erez Tepper

Erez is 17 years old from Binyamina and attends “ORT Hashomron Binyamina”, and a third year student at the Open University. Studies to achieve Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Physics. Last year he set up a team, which he leads this year – of youngsters who are interested and lead projects in education, in order to learn from each other, work for change together, and create a long, continual process in Education across the country. Erez is an ambassador at “Lead” – a leadership development organization. In addition, he established project121, which aims to adjust the education system and prepare the students for the 21th century, and create national network of students that actively working for better and more suitable education. Inbar Tshuva-Frenkel

Inbar is 17 years old from the Herzlia, attends “Harishonim” high school. She presents an opinion column in "23 Minutes", a current events youth program of the educational TV channel. Inbar Initiated the "Equality at the Prom" campaign to lower the costs of the high school graduation prom. The campaign has been covered by many media channels and had already seen some results, including taking part in a deliberation of the “Special Committee for the Rights of the Child” in the Israeli Knesset. Inbar likes, among other things, to write poetry, spoken word and articles.

Itay Pincas

Itay is 15.5 years old and attends “Ramon” High School in Hod Hasharon. He is an application developer, digital consultant and entrepreneur. Itay started programming when he was ten years old. He is a lecturer in Israel and abroad to encourage entrepreneurship among the youth. Itay was chosen by Forbes Magazine for the list of the 30 most promising young people in Israel until the age of 30. Itay likes listening to music almost all day long and enjoys to play the guitar.

Tahel Shtober

Tahel is 17 years old from Jerusalem and attends “Pelech” school. She has served in various positions in the “National Student and Youth Council” and represented the youth on various committees in the Israeli Parliament. Tahel has led various Think-Tanks in the Ministry of Education and was one of the leaders of the Equality March” - a protest march from the periphery city of Yeruham, to Jerusalem which aimed to achieve differential budgeting in education and welfare. In addition, Tahel established a social project called "Summit" which aims to raise the sense of self-efficacy for students from a low socio-economic class. She leads a team of youth who "breathe education" and help create a long process of change in education. She is an ambassador at “Lead” - a Leadership Development Organization.
