Theme: Thinking Deeply

This event will held in 13th of May, on saturday, at Dunya concert Hall, in Baku. It will take 5 hours. There will be 10 speaker and 3 performer. Our event's theme is "Thinking Deeply". So speeches during TEDxKhazarUniversity will make people think deeply.

Erlan Ismailov

Student

He is a student in Khazar University. He is from Georgia but his nationality is Azerbaijanian. His country religion is in general Islam, but he is christian. So his life experience is very different. He talks in TEDxKhazarUniversity about formation of world view by giving examples from his life.

Fuad Rasulov

Economist

PhD. Moscow Institute for Management of Public Economy, Russia, Professor of Managerial Sciences. Prof. Rasulov took part in 21 International Conferences (on Economical subject) and in 12 Conferences in Azerbaijan (in 9 of them he had presentations). He specialized in macroeconomic analysis, budget analysis, development analysis.

Hamlet Isakhanli

Founder of Khazar University

He is an Azerbaijani mathematician, poet, science and social science writer, living founder of Khazar University who served as founding president from April 1991 to September 2010. He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, Khazar University (beginning from September, 2010); founder of integrated primary, secondary and high schools (Dunya School); and founder of a publishing house (all in Baku, capital of Azerbaijan) as well as a translator of poetry, lecturer, and editor.

Jestin Baby Mandumpal

Camputational Chemist

Dr. Jestin Baby Mandumpal is a Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry & Chemical Engineering, Khazar University, Baku, Azerbaijan. As a physical and computational chemist, he has worked on a wide spectrum of research themes employing quantum and classical methodologies on solids, liquids and aqueous solutions. His research endeavours have produced several high quality research articles & a book (The Molecular mechanism of solvent Cryoprotection), in the fields of computational material science and education. Besides, he has procured invaluable teaching experience in chemistry from several countries. Currently he is leading a research group at newly established Khazar Computing Research Center. His research interests include the development of faster computer simulation methods and their applications in simulating liquids and aqueous solutions, and development and application of software for novel material design. He is also interested in history and philosophy of science.

Mahsati Cabbarova

She is vocal instructor in Khazar University Art and Culture Department.

Murad Mammadov

Motivator, trainer

He was born in 1990, in Baku. He is trainer and motivator for an nongovernmental organisation which aims integration of disabled people to social life. He is also autor of a book, named "The Map Of Success". Moreover, he works for information centre of Bank Of Baku as an expert.

Rashad Bayramov

Business Trainer

Rashad Bayramov is an international business trainer. He also serves as the external affairs manager for BP in Azerbaijan. Mr. Bayramov has provided public speaking and corporate communication training and coaching to major companies, government agencies and universities both in and outside Azerbaijan, including BP, Qatargas, SOCAR, PricewaterhouseCoopers, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Pasha Holding, and Koc University. The experience Rashad Bayramov has gained as company spokesperson in the last 10 years covers numerous presentations to world leaders, including President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, British Prime Minister Tony Blair and President of European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso, and CEOs of major transnational companies. His book “Trust Your Words: Ten Steps to Conquer Your Audience” was published in December 2016.

Samir Imanov

Novelist

Mr. Imanov was born on 27th of August in Sumqayit city. He is 1st group disabled due to “Cerebral Palsy" and "Hemophilia". He procured his education from the `Centre of Home Schooling” in Sumqayit City. He is author of some books about disabled people, winner of several writing competition, and were awarded diplomas and other prizes many times. Interestingly he has authored an anthem on disabled people, and while serving as head of www.qartal.org web site for physically disabled people he took active roles in non-governmental organizations on numerous occasions. He speaks Azerbaijanian, Turkish, Russion, English and Spanish and his hobby includes watching football and collecting dictionaries. He is married and has one son. His motto is: regardless of your physical situation, be proud of yourself.
