In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Aida Khachatryan

Teacher
Aida is a teacher in Gyumri Academic College. She loves to work with children, to talk about what concerns her, to seek, find and apply new teaching methods, but doesn’t like to do the work, which she dislikes. Aida is very good at solving the Rubik's Cube and spinning a pen around her fingers.

Ani Hovhannisyan

Student
Ani is from Gyumri. She is interested in network marketing, rhetoric, social work and volunteer activities. She wants to become the mayor of Gyumri and open a lamp factory, which will employ people with vision problems; she considers receiving the first place diploma at the Olympiad on Armenian language her greatest achievement.

Ani Stambolcyan

Student
Ani is from Vardenis. She loves when people understand her and doesn’t like when people aren’t honest with her. She sleeps a lot, and is always late for school. She also loves to sing but in secret.

Azatuhi Khachatryan

Student
Azatuhi is from Martuni village. She is interested in people, nature and almost everything that is connected with them: science, photography, art and literature. Azatuhi doesn’t like to stop.

Hranush Hovhannisyan

Student
Hranush is from Arteni village, and she has graduated from Gyumri State Pedagogical Institute. At the moment, she considers human love, trust and respect to be the main achievements in her life. Hranush doesn’t like hypocrisy and irresponsible people.

Mane Ispiryan

Student
Mane lives in Yerevan and studies at Yerevan State Basic Medical College. She has a great imagination, which helps her to compose, and she doesn’t like to talk pointlessly.

Meri Hambardzumyan

Pupil
Mery is from Darbas village in Syunik region. She likes to compose, to create new and different, she attends a folk dance group but prefers modern dances. Mary loves spiders and even keeps them at home because she thinks that, like many other insects, they also need help.

Meri Tataryan

Student
Mery is from Sarukhan village, and she studies at Gavar State University. She likes to communicate with different people, especially with children, and enjoys active social work. She is interested in the business world and wants to become a business woman.

Mihran Sargsyan

Student
Mihran is from Kapan, and he studies at the Kapan branch of the National Polytechnic University of Armenia. He likes to improve himself and doesn’t like one-sided people. Since 3 years old, he sings and plays on more than 7 instruments; also he has a 3-year programming experience. Mihran believes his greatest achievement was being elected as a mayor for 1 day.

Satik Tarjumanyan

Student
Satik is from Gargar village in Lori region, she studies at Vanadzor State College of Arts named after M. Tavrisyan. She dreams of a great library, where will be all the books that she had read. She is interested in the planets, undiscovered interesting phenomena in the world, and people endowed with singularity. Satik mentions that when she was studying at the school, the teachers said that she has always asked a lot of questions, even too many.

Shushan Vahanyan

Student
Shushan is from Badivan village, and she studies at Gyumri State Pedagogical Institute named after M. Nalbandyan. Shushan likes to walk in the rain without an umbrella and read books near the furnace during the snow.

Tatev Kokhlikyan

Student
Tatev is from Chinchin village in Tavush region, but she would like to be an alien. Tatev considers herself to be a person who has her own opinion and doesn’t like when people dictate her how to live.
