Theme: Passion and Momentum

Momentum – the quantity of motion of a moving body, measured as a product of its mass and velocity; the force gained by a moving object.
Passion – strong and barely controllable emotion; an intense desire or enthusiasm for something.
Passion and Momentum are the driving forces behind any achievement. You must have passion for what you do, and you must have the dedication to do what must be done. Every accomplishment in human history is the result of these qualities, resulting in a century where we plan to colonize Mars, create exceptional masterpieces, and turn our dreams into reality.
However, these incredible feats will never be fulfilled without the help of future generations. Children are the ones who will see the problems. Teenagers are the ones who will dream of solutions. The youth of the world are the ones who must have passion and momentum.
This year, TEDxYouth@AlamitosBay is inviting pioneers, explorers, scientists, artists, and dreamers who are the driving force behind their fields. Join us as we plant the seeds of change in our community.
