Theme: The Balancing Act

This event occurred on
May 6, 2017
Seoul, Gyeonggido
South Korea

The Seoul International School community has experiences to share with others that relate to the main theme of this TED event: The Balancing Act. To briefly explain, this TEDx event will take a look at imbalance in our lives. For example, many people face an imbalance between work and play, or there is a division between the rich and the poor. While people unintentionally become imbalanced in their lives, there are certain types of imbalances in society that people try to fix. I wanted to provide an opportunity to think about the core aspects of The Balancing Act. Is it really important to stay balanced? What does it really mean to “be balanced”? What are some examples in your life where you had to maintain balance (physically or mentally)?

These changes have broader implications to how markets will function in the future, how businesses innovate, how capital flows, and how income equality changes, among others.
