In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Chandra Mohan Thakur

Chandra Mohan Thakur is currently serving as an IAS officer in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. He graduated from IIT Kanpur, and after working for 3.5 years in the corporate world decided to serve the nation and got into civil services. He became an IRS officer in 2011 and is now changing the norms of the society as an IAS. He frequently writes about social issues on his blog-http://cmt-lekhnise.blogspot.in/

Devanshu Kumar

Devanshu Singh is a National Award winning filmmaker from the duo Storytelling Twins. A Mass Media graduate from Mumbai University, he was trained under Nikhil Advani and Vikramaditya Motwane on various feature and advertising films. He kick-started his film making career with the National Award-winning short film called 'Tamaash' which he wrote, produced and directed with his brother, Satyanshu. Devanshu has directed several web films, including ad films for Taj Mahal, Quikr, X Box, promos for MAMI film festival, and most AIB's videos. He also recently co-directed a music video with Indian Ocean for a feature documentary

Dr. M.V Padma Srivastava

Padma Shree, Professor of Neurology at AIIMS
Madakasira Vasantha Padma Srivastav is an Indian neurologist, medical academic and writer, and the professor of neurology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi.She is known for pioneering Acute Stroke Programme (Code-Red), a medical initiative for supporting patients afflicted with epilepsy and stroke, incorporating Hyperacute Reperfusion strategies including the thrombolysis program.The Government of India awarded her the fourth highest civilian honour of the Padma Shri, in 2016, for her contributions to medical science.

Maj. Gen. (Dr.)G.D Bakshi

Maj Gen(Dr) GD Bakshi, SM, VSM(retd) is a combat veteran of many skirmishes on the LC and Counter-Terrorist operations in J&K and Punjab. He commanded his battalion in active operations in Kargil and was awarded the Vishist Seva Medal. Later he commanded a brigade in Counter-Terrorist operations in the very rugged mountains of Kishtwar and was awarded the Sena Medal for his distinguished services.He is a prolific writer on matters military and non-military and has published 24 books and over 110 papers in many prestigious research journals. His articles have also been published in various National Newspapers. He taught at the Indian Military Academy Dehradun and the Prestigious Defence Services Staff College at Wellington for three years each.He holds a Masters degree in Defence Science and an M Phil in Strategic Studies from the University of Madras. He recently completed his Ph.D from the same University on” Limited Wars in South Asia”. He is also an Associate member of the IDSA.

Sachin is the CEO and co-founder of Hackerearth​, an online programming and recruiting platform. He graduated from IIT Roorkee, worked at Google, then realised he has bigger problems to solve and founded HackerEarth

The Minimalist

Founders, The Minimalist
Chirag Gander and Sahil Vaidya are a bunch of non-conformist engineers from IIT Bombay who started The Minimalist with a Facebook page with the sole motive of highlighting social issues in a witty and thoughtful manner. Soon, they reached over 10 million people with their yet simple designs and gradually went on to win the Kyoorius Red Elephant- the foremost student design award in India. In one year, the duo turned their craft into a business which is now a disruptive digital agency of 35+ creative minds and have served over 150 clients including Coca Cola, News Corp, TCS and Abbott to name a few. Being active speakers, they've presented their ideas at platforms like TEDx Mumbai and IIM Bangalore in the past.
