Theme: What Now?

Please join us for a fun afternoon at Marsh Creek 6th Grade Center to celebrate TED's International Youth Day. This event will feature live speakers, live stream of TED Youth Day, and interactive activities. Parents and students are welcome.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Thomas and Tamsin Hircock

Thomas Hircock is a Junior in college. He's been involved since he was 12 in helping his father begin the Bike Club and Access to Education Foundation which delivers bikes to underprivileged children working in mines throughout India. His sister, Tamsin, whose been travelling to India since she was 8 and is a special needs Senior at DASD East High School. She speaks about her experiences and her friends in India.

Isis Young

Isis is a 11 year old student from Downingtown Area School District. She is a member of the TED Ed club and decided she had a message worth spreading at the TEDx event hosted at MarshCreek 6th grade center.
