Amina Touidjine

Doctor in Electrochemistry
Born in Algiers in 1987, Amina arrived in France at the age of eight. From his childhood brutally interrupted by war and terrorism, only painful memories remain. Not speaking French when she arrives, Amina learns it at school in France. Her love for this language and for the theater led her to the stage of the Comédie-Française at the age of thirteen, where she performed several times a week for three years. She was also the spokesperson of the refugees at the National Assembly on the occasion of the call of Paris, June 16, 2001. In parallel, Amina pursued a brilliant education.

Cristina Del Biaggio

Scientific collaborator at the University of Geneva
After completing her doctorate at the University of Geneva, Cristina Del Biaggio focused her research on frontiers and (forced) migrations. In this context, it has made land in Greece (2012) and on the "route of the Balkans" (2013-2014). She is currently working as a scientific collaborator at the University of Geneva and as project manager for the "Comptoir des médias" project for the Swiss association Vivre Ensemble, information service on asylum and refugees. The project aims to promote information on asylum based on verified facts and not on conventional wisdom.

Elise Boghossian

Neuroscience and acupuncture
After studying neuroscience, Élise Boghossian trains with acupuncture and pain treatment in Vietnam and China. In 2002, together with a group of former students, she created the Elisecare association, which aims to promote the care of victims of war in conflict zones and the benefits of acupuncture, particularly in the treatment of pain. With mobile clinics in Iraq, Elise Boghossian plans to create new mobile units in France and abroad, in war zones or disadvantaged areas. The website of the association Elisecare: www.elisecare.org

François Reybet - Degat

Deputy Director for the Middle East and North Africa at the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR)
With 25 years of experience in leadership and multi-lateral operational management (United Nations), François Reybet-Degat has worked in large-scale humanitarian work in African countries (Angola, Sudan), Europe Yugoslavia), the Middle East (Jordan), South-West Asia (Afghanistan) and Southeast Asia (Vietnam).

Gérard Dubois

Mayor of the commune of Pessat-Villeneuve (
Born on November 18, 1962 in Toulouse (31), Gérard Dubois is married and father of 3 children (3 girls).   Since 2008, he is mayor of the commune of Pessat-Villeneuve (63) without political label. He is also vice-president in charge of housing and living policy in Riom-community (since 2014). He is still active and works for the Post Office

Jean-François Dubost

Head of the Population Protection Program at Amnesty International France
A lawyer by training, specializing in international human rights law and international humanitarian law, Jean-François Dubost begins working with refugees in a reception center for asylum seekers. It will subsequently contribute, in conjunction with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, to strengthening the legal capacity of local NGOs to assist asylum seekers and refugees in several regions of France. Currently Head of the Population Protection Program at Amnesty International France, he coordinates, among other things, the actions relating to refugees, of which he is specifically responsible for advocacy work. At the same time, he participated in the drafting of a draft international convention on environmental displacement in connection with the Faculty of Law of Limoges and has regularly facilitated numerous professional and academic training courses on the right of asylum and civil liberties .

Omar Guerrero

Psychoanalyst
Omar Guerrero, is a member of the International Lacanian Association. He worked as a clinical psychologist with adolescents (in the Paris suburbs) and children (therapeutic placement). It also receives children and adults in institutions (CMPP and Center for the care of victims of political violence and torture). From time to time, he participates in the training of psychoanalysts (school) and, in academia, psychologists and social workers.

Pascal Brice

Director General of the French Office for the Protection of Refugees and Stateless Persons (Ofpra)
Born September 24, 1966 in Nantes, graduated from IEP Paris and holds a DEA in Applied Economics, this former student of the ENA (promotion "Léon Gambetta", 1993), begins his diplomatic career as first secretary to Of the French Embassy in Morocco (1993-1996) before joining the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in the direction of European Cooperation (1996-1998). He was then technical advisor to Louis Le Pensec and Jean Glavany (1998-1999), Minister of Agriculture, and then to Hubert Védrine, Minister of Foreign Affairs (1999-2002). Deputy Director of Common Policies of the European Union at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 2002 to 2004, he is Consul General of France in Barcelona from 2006 to 2010 before joining the Court of Auditors. Diplomatic adviser to the Cabinet of the Minister of the Economy and Finance (Pierre Moscovici) and to the Cabinet of the Minister of Foreign Trade (Nicole Bricq) in 2012, since July 2012 is adviser of foreign affairs.

Sonia Ben Ali

Entrepreneur
Sonia Ben Ali is the co-founder and executive director of the NGO URBAN REFUGEES, created in 2012. A graduate of Sciences Po Bordeaux, Sonia began working with displaced and refugee populations in 2007. After various missions on the ground with NGOs And UN agencies in Colombia, Senegal, the Palestinian Territories and Lebanon, it creates URBAN REFUGEES with the help of a web and graphic designer. URBAN REFUGEES today has a headquarters in Paris and New York, a field program and a network of more than 70 NGOs.

Thomas Jezequel

expert on migration and asylum issues in the European network "EUROCITIES"
A graduate of the IEP in Lille and Bordeaux, he previously worked on the issue of asylum and migration in the Helsinki Citizen Assembly in Istanbul, the Hungarian Helsinki Committee, Gisti and Caritas International Belgium.
