Theme: Strengths Based Leadership

Far too many organisations and businesses have become fixated with their employee's weaknesses, areas for development or limitations. Some progressive businesses have started looking out for the inherent strengths of each of their individual workforce members, and look to capitalise upon these strengths. The individuals benefit, their teams benefit and most of all, the organisation benefits.

When five-year old Johnny first goes to school, at the first meeting between his teachers and his parents, we hear the well intentioned teachers share that Johnny is not so good at adding things up, so they are going to give him extra arithmetic classes. Wouldn't it be wonderful if instead they said that Johnny is a natural at spelling, so we are giving him extra English classes?

René Carayol, Sally Bibb and Emmajane Varley will share their stories and views, in the inimitable TEDx style, short and inspiring sessions that may well open a whole new world of personal development for all attendees and the basis for building high performing teams and transforming the organisation at large.
