TEDxIUBH aims to spread the idea that important breakthroughs are experienced on a daily basis, even when they go unnoticed. Ranging from medicine or science to self-development or personal growth, breakthroughs are coming to light day after day and may be waiting just around the corner.

Ilja Grzeskowitz

Keynote Speaker, Author and Consultant
Change is not what happens to you, but the way you deal with it. That´s the mantra of Berlin based author Ilja Grzeskowitz (spoken GRAESCH -KO -WITZ). He studied economics and marketing and was the youngest store manager for Germany´s largest retail corporation Karstadt, as well as for IKEA. During that time, he had to fight with various changes and became an expert on that topic. The bestselling author of seven books, including his recent one „Think it. Do it. Change it. How to Dream Big, Act Bold and Get the Results you want“ held guest lecturing positions at the Berlin School of Law and Economics and the SRH University in Berlin and constantly travels around the world to research future trends and developments. It is one of his strongest beliefs, that companies only change when the people change and he helps entrepreneurs, business executives and C-Suite leaders to deal with the rapid changes around us. Inge Bell

Entrepreneur & Human Rights Activist
Inge Bell is a Media Entrepreneur & Human Rights Activist, Publicist & Producer, Consultant & Coach. Born in communist Romania but raised in Munich, Inge Bell is the managing director of a media holding company with branches in Germany and Washington D.C. As a slavist and Eastern Europe historian she worked as an investigative foreign reporter with the ARD (First German Television) directly at the trouble spots in (South-) Eastern Europe – reporting on site on organized crime and human trafficking. Until today, she is committed as a human rights activist to fighting against human trafficking and for humane living conditions for the disabled in Eastern Europe: besides offering hands-on humanitarian help for minors in forced prostitution and disabled persons, she is a passionate speaker in film presentations, a lecturer for University seminars on human rights and the author of several books. Inge Bell has been awarded as “Woman of Europe” and with the German Federal Cross of Merit.

Jörg Alexander

Liz Howard

Keynote Singer, Trainer, Coach, Author, and Lecturer
Liz Howard is a power woman born in Colorado and raised in New Orleans. She is Germany’s first Keynote Singer, Trainer, Coach, Author and Lecturer at the University of Economics and Environment in Nürtingen/Geislingen. For over 30 years, her stage presence has inspired thousands around the world. She has made appearances in corporations worldwide, led master classes, has been a vocal coach for Tito Jackson of the Jackson Family and appeared on the XFactor as a vocal coach for the first two seasons. She is often called upon by large companies to help in the fine art of healing the communication gap within an organization. She is also an Editor for Managerin Mag, a business publication for women. Liz has over 30 years of stage experience including two starring roles in the musicals’ Mandela as Winnie Mandela and Queenie in Show Boat. Myrijam Stoetzer

Entrepreneur
Myrijam Stoetzer is a 15-year-old German girl who could not be more impressive. Her projects include a virtual jogging device for street view (Google Science Fair 2014, regional award) and a sensor for automatic dosage of washing liquid (German Science Fair 2014, 2nd prize regional level). As well as a 5x5x5 LED cube for Lego Mindstorms with additional hardware. However, her greatest success is the development of a wheelchair that can be controlled by eye movements. Together with her fellow student Paul Foltin, they won the 1st prize in the German Science Competition on national level (“Bundessieg Fachgebiet Arbeitswelt”) for this project.
