In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Cari Coats

Managing Partner, Accendo Leadership Advisory Group
Cari is a business advisor, leadership strategist, executive coach and speaker. She is co-founder and managing partner of Accendo Leadership Advisory Group, a leadership strategy firm focused on executive coaching and team development. Cari is executive-in-residence at the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College and serves as a director on the board of venVelo, an early stage venture investment firm. She is a frequent speaker on the topics of innovation and entrepreneurship, leadership, social innovation and women’s business issues.

Carol Cox

Owner, Speaking Your Brand
Carol is the creator of Speaking Your Brand, which helps purpose-driven women entrepreneurs shape their business and personal brands, share their message, and become recognized as influencers in their field. She teaches business and marketing classes at Full Sail University, and during election seasons, serves as a Democratic political analyst. Carol has also started two software businesses, whose clients have included Fortune 500 companies, small businesses and start-ups, municipalities, community organizations, and political candidates.

Leslie Hielema

Vice President, Orlando Center at Florida Institute of Technology
Leslie is vice president of the Orlando Center at Florida Institute of Technology, co-creating community initiatives such as weVENTURE and developing partnerships in areas such as autism treatment, biomedical engineering, and aviation. She has a unique background combining technology development with entrepreneurial innovation. Leslie has led teams of scientists and programmers to develop top secret 3D geospatial decision support systems for the Navy Seals, and was selected after a national search to serve as the first female president of the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce in its over 100 year history.

Marsha Robbins

Executive Director, Dramatic Education, Inc.
Marsha is the founder and executive director for Dramatic Education, Inc., an educational arts company that specializes in-school, after-school and summer drama programs. She is an educational arts advocate, consultant, and change-agent and was recently recognized by the Orlando Business Journal among the 2016 "Women Who Mean Business." Marsha has worked for Walt Disney Entertainment, Universal Orlando, Orlando Shakespeare Theatre, and Chautauqua Conservatory Theatre in New York State.

Suneera is CEO and founder of Orlando's fastest growing startup Fattmerchant, a transparent flat fee merchant services platform that provides financial and strategic value to businesses across the nation.
