TEDxHamamatsu Salon Vol.2 Across with intellectual curiosities

TEDxHamamatsu Salon Vol.2 will be held on 22nd May 2016
We are pleased to announce that TEDxHamamatsu Salon will be held besides
TEDxHamamatsu standard event, and we would like to devote more of our energies to
the community activities as this year marks the second year for TEDxHamamatsu.
Through the Salon event, which small and meaningful communication is available, we
would like you to know more about our activities, TED and TEDx.

◆What is TEDxHamamatsu Salon?

TEDxSalon is a licensed event with permission from TED headquarters, which will be
held a few times a year, which is smaller than an annual standard event.
What we do is;
to watch TED Talks
to invite a live speaker
to hold a workshop, etc
The participants can deepen exchange with each other.
We TEDxHamamatsu already had the first Salon among staff on 14th March. The
second Salon will be opened to the public for the first time on 22nd May.

◆About the theme ”Across with intellectual curiosities”

People want to know its reason or meaning if they don’t know anything about it.
We still have so many unknown things in this world even we already have such an
information society. We choose and try to get the answer.
Of course there might be some biased information as people are not the same.
The biased information must be your identity, and other people’s biased information
might be what you need.
We would like to make TEDxHamamatsu Salon vol.2 as an opportunity to watch
selected TED Talks together and meet various ideas, to stimulate your intellectual
curiosities, then, to find out new things by exchanging everyone’s intellectual curiosities
through discussion.
