Theme: 霓号(Hello)

The theme of TEDxNWU will be "NI HAO" in Chinese pinyin, which means “Hello" in English. Through this theme, we want to convey our sincere greetings to new friends. TEDx is our new friend who comes from afar. We welcome TEDx to spread useful knowledge and thoughts on the stage in NWU, stimulating young people's enthusiasm to acquire knowledge and inspire their senses of innovation,thus can motivate them to achieve dreams. Meanwhile, as a new member of TEDx, TEDxNWU also encourage more people to take a part in our activities, broadening horizon and finding inspiration. Let us do brainstorming and let TEDxNWU be your mentor.

Zhang Wenfei,an American registered dietitian nutritionist.She was graduated from Peking University Health Science Center and obtained a double degree in psychology.Furthermore,she got master degree in human nutrition in Michigan University in the US.As for social practices, she had taken a part-time job in French restaurant,being an apprentice and translator.Besides,she had been a volunteer in participating in the medical service in the "AIDS Village" in South Africa.Before returning to China,she was a clinical nutritionist in Michigan University Hospital.And she established a “Nutritionist Group” with partners in China,collecting and discussing the latest studies in the field of nutrition and fitness,and providing services for consultants.

World Memory Master

Li Wei is the first "World Memory Master" in Shenzhen.He won the first team championship in the World Memory Championships for China in 2011 and he himself got the third place in the decathlon in this championships.Hired by the Talent Pool of Chinese Super Brain,Li Wei became the first Shenzhen citizen to join the Super Brain Pool.In 2015,he attended the second season of a program named Super Brain by Jiangsu TV,in which he succeeded and advanced to the next round with his exceedingly excellent performances.A year later,he acted as the leader of Team China in the Sino-Germany Contest of Super Brain.

Contemporary writer and poet.Born in Beijing in 1974.Graduated from Engineering management major of Tianjin university.He was the chief editor of Beiyangrenbao.He has written the book named 70's Poetry Talks,which is a new literary form in the history of Chinese new poetry.He and Wu feiyue co-directed the Verse of Us,which won the Golden Goblet Award of 18th Shanghai International Film Festival,making him cross the boundary from a poet to a director.

Yang Yan is a Jazz dancer,a member of Shaanxi Dance Association as well as the founder and owner of the most authoritative dance training studio in Xi’an.She also attended opening ceremony of China's Got Talent,Xi’an contest division as special guest,and was voted as "Dance talent" in this Chinese reality television series.
