Aristide Badje

Second Lieutenant/Bioenvironmental Engineering Officer/United States Air Force
Prior to joining the Air Force, Lt Badje dedicated his time to inner city/low income schools, as an advance placement chemistry instructor at Friendship Technology Preparatory Academy Public Charter School in Southeast Washington DC. Lt Badje was the first of his family to graduate from college, Howard University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering. Lt Badje was member of T.R.U.S.T society, an engineering society for men in excellence. He was appointed project Co-leader (Summer 2012), then project leader (Summer 2013) for Howard University Global Engineering Awareness and Research Program (HUGEAR-UP) for Kenya and Senegal respectively. He presented one of his research projects titled “Biodiesel from Algae oil” at the Emerging Researchers National Conference (ERN) on March 5, 2013 in Washington DC. Lt Badje enjoys playing sports, reading books and listening to music. Some of his favorite books include The Price of Freedom by Ellen Ndeshi Namhila.

Chelsea Tabisz

Miliary Wife/Mother/Professional Singer/Veteran
Mrs Tabisz distinguished herself early on as a musician, winning the United States Air Force Band of the Pacific-Asia’s Young Artist Competition on flute two years in a row and earning a spot as a featured soloist on their community concerts before crowds of 2,000 Japanese and Americans outside of Tokyo, Japan. In 2001, she won the title “Miss O’Fallon” and for the next year devoted time to working with underprivileged children, performing at veterans’ functions and visiting nursing homes. A graduate of O’Fallon Township High School in O’Fallon, Illinois, she was honored with two Outstanding Jazz Musician titles and received the Arion Award for her musical and academic accomplishments, as well as community involvement. Mrs. Tabisz then studied theatre at Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio, before successfully auditioning as a singer with the U. S. Air Force Band of the West in 2003.

David Satchell

Chief Master Sergeant/Superintendent, Expeditionary Operations Center/United States Air Force
Chief Master Sergeant David E. Satchell is the Superintendent of the United States Air Force Expeditionary Operations School. He is the senior enlisted advisor to the commander, ensuring the professional development and efficient management of 290 personnel from various career fields charged with educating and training advanced readiness deployment and mobility operations skills for the purpose of surviving and operating in an expeditionary environment to over 44,000 personnel annually via 100 expeditionary field and resident courses. Chief Satchell is from Omaha, Nebraska. He enlisted on active duty in 1990 as a Dental Assistant Apprentice, beginning at Sembach Air Base, Germany. He retrained to the Command Post career field in 2003. He has as variety of deployments to interesting locations. Chief Satchell is a John Levitow Outstanding Graduate from Airmen Leadership School in 1996 and has a Bachelors of Arts degree in Sociology from American Military University.

Dr. Laura Sicola

Professional Speech Guru/Business Owner/Author
Laura has spent more than a decade coaching, training, lecturing, researching and publishing on cognition, pronunciation, culture, the voice and related effect on learning. She is a speech coach for the TED Fellows program, and has delivered TEDx talks, workshops, presentations and keynote addresses on topics ranging from the art of persuasive speaking to intercultural business communication, for audiences across the US, as well as in Egypt, Japan, Spain, China and Germany. Laura recognizes that strong leadership communication skills are fundamental to success regardless of one’s formal role or position, and tries to pay it forward whenever possible. She is on the board of advisers for Women Network and the California Women’s Conference, and helps pre-seminarians develop public speaking skills for sermons and spiritual guidance through the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. She also does business pitch coaching to help rising entrepreneurs – especially women and minorities.

Dr. Mark Cucuzzella

MD FAAFP Professor West Virginia University School of Medicine/Lieutenant Colonel, United States Air Force
Dr. Mark Cucuzzella is a Professor at West Virginia University School of Medicine. He is also a LtCol in the US Air Force designing programs to promote health and better fitness in the military with the USAF Efficient Running Project. In military and civilian community he has been a tireless promoter of healthy movement, nutritional interventions in patients with any spectrum of the metabolic syndrome, and injury free training for running . He was a lead writer of one of the first grants supporting education of Medical Students in nutrition and physical activity in Medical School. Mark is also the lead on a large USDA grant to double SNAP benefits at Farmers Markets- the goal is reducing food insecurity as a barrier to healthier eating. He’s also been a competitive runner for over 30 years — with more than 100 marathon and ultra marathons finishes. He has won the Air Force Marathon twice. Mark’s innovative work and story have been featured in many major national publications.

FIRST Nemisis Robotics Team Joy Wolfe, advisor

FIRST stands for "For Inspiration & Recognition in Science and Technology"...Dean Kamin, a serial inventor and entrepreneur (he invented the segue), started the now national FIRST Robotics organization "to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders, by engaging them in exciting Mentor-based programs that build science, engineering, and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership."

Jannell MacAulay

Lieutenant Colonel/Commander/Pilot/United States Air Force
Lieutenant Colonel MacAulay was commissioned in May 1998 as a graduate of the U. S. Air Force Academy. She has served in flying and staff positions including Wing Commander’s Action Group Chief, Assistant Director of Operations at the squadron level, and KC-10 Formal Training Unit Chief. Lieutenant Colonel MacAulay has more than 2,800 flying hours as an instructor in three different weapon systems which include the C-21 Lear Jet, the C-130 Hercules, and the KC-10 Extender, and more than 750 combat and combat support hours. She is a veteran of Operations JOINT FORGE, NORTHERN WATCH, ENDURING FREEDOM, and IRAQI FREEDOM. Prior to her current assignment, Lieutenant Colonel MacAulay served as the Chief, Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction Planning Support to the Americas and U.S. Interagency, at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, at Fort Belvoir, VA.

Sebrena FlaggBriggs

Chief Master Sergeant/Aerial Port Operations/United States Air Force
Chief Master Sergeant Sebrena L. FlaggBriggs is the Senior Air Reserve Technician of the 88th Aerial Port Squadron, 514th Air Mobility Wing, Air Force Reserve Command, Joint Base McGuire- Dix-Lakehurst, N.J. As the Air Transportation Superintendent Chief FlaggBriggs manages, advises and provides guidance to the unit members and advises the Wing/Squadron Commanders and Mission Support Group Commander on unit matters, budget, supply and manpower. She accomplishes a variety of tasks which ultimately result in the Aerial Port unit’s capability to perform its wartime mission and ensures that the more than 210 reservists are properly trained and equipped to provide wartime combat and peacetime Aerial Port support acts. Chief FlaggBriggs enlisted in the Air Force Reserve in August 1986 and is stationed at McGuire Air Force Base, NJ. She has divided her career years between the transportation career field and the Info Management career field. Chief FlaggBriggs serves on many committees.

SFC LeVar Curry

Health and Fitness Outreach Specialist/Big Sarge Fitness
Sergeant First Class LeVar “Big Sarge” Curry is a 21 year Army service veteran who is also a master group fitness instructor. With over 18 years of experience teaching fitness for the military and over 13 years of teaching in South New Jersey, Big Sarge is truly the most intense Zumba/group fitness instructor you will ever have. Big Sarge served as a top production recruiter for the Active Army and then the NJ Army National Guard in the Atlantic City area for 13 years. During this time he earned the Presidential Chief’s 54 Top performance recruiter award in 2013. Big Sarge was also recognized as one of Atlantic City Weekly’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2015 for his community service fitness fundraisers. Big Sarge is currently serving as the Joint Military Family Assistance Center Asst NCOIC and teaches Zumba for the military families on JB MDL.
