Have you ever wondered how Cristopher Columbus would react if somebody told him that in few hundred years travel to India is 6 hours distance? Would modern art sell in times of renaissance? Would prehistoric man like yogurt? Or maybe - how will the future surprise you? If you have ever asked yourself such kind of questions join us and stay tuned…

Take a journey to the future during TEDxSzczecinYouth: Made in the Future!

How will the world be in 2035? What kind of possibilities will come with developing artificial intelligence? In which direction will archeology, fashion and art evolve? What about the cities we live in? What sort of skills will be mostly seek by employers?

You can look for the answers with us on 15th of November! During our event we will watch the live broadcast from TEDYouth 2015 conference taking place in Brooklyn Museum and listen to our guests speeches! We are also preparing other entertaining activities for you! Join the crowds gathering simultaneously in almost 100 cities around the World! The whole event is going to be held in English!

Adam Łukomski

Adam Łukomski is currently doing a PhD in robotics and teaches control theory at the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin. Born and raised in Szczecin, still doesn’t remember half of the street names, even the main ones. His lifelong dream was always to make the robots walk and take over the world, not necessarily in that order wink emoticon While dealing on everyday basis with walking robots, wheeled robots and flying robots, he prefers to spend free time oil painting.

Pierre Mercy

Pierre Mercy is a software developer working at Cyberith, the VR company which produces the Virtualizer, a physical movement input device. A native of Biarritz, South West of France. His work about Virtual Reality started during his Master degree studies at the national video game school of France, the ENJMIN, on his project ìArcheî, a 360 degrees fully immersive seated experience. Since then, he created the original demo of the VR arcade experience ìVirtual Surfî that is today exposed in the Museum of Ocean of Biarritz. In 2014, he then joined the team of Cyberith where he design the VR experiences and innovations. His work at Cyberith has been exposed at the biggest VR and video games conventions like the E3 (Los Angeles), the Gamescom (Cologne) and the Laval Virtual (VR capital city in Europe) and tested by thousands of VR enthusiasts.
