2016 is giving you one more day, day number 366. Will you be brave enough to do something about it? What could you get done in 24 hours? In a year? This event will introduce you to great leaders who are willing to stand on a platform and share their ideas. They will make you stop and think: what can I do to make a change?

Alex Assad

Entrepreneur
Steve Fordham in 1993 (5th grade) Graduated from ASFM: Nursery to Bach-Class of 2000 Industrial Engineering at ITESM -Class of 2004 MBA at Columbia Business School - Class of 2011 Currently he is Partner & CEO at 360 Trading Group and IMPAK2GO. His main focus is on international commerce and trading, supply chains and product line development.

Annalice Hill

Educator/Counselor
Annalice Hill is a middle school/high school counselor at ASFM and has been for the past four years. She is a young Canadian educator who is currently working towards her Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership. She has a passion for students, learning and life and can often be found reading, writing and making DIY projects during her free time.

Antonio Elosua

Industrial Engineer
He is an industrial engineer graduated from Tec of Monterrey and has a master’s degree in science from UT Austin. He has acquired a series of other degrees throughout his career; Finance from Stanford, Owners President Management from Harvard, and Real Estate Development from IESE Barcelona. Our speaker is partner and CEO of UCALLI, a real estate development company in Monterrey with presence in 5 states of the country. He is also chairman to the Urban Development Committee in Nuevo Leon for the strategic planning of our state.

Daniel Delgado

Economist
He is a financier in the creative working field. Previously, Delgado worked with Ex-Bank-of-Mexico-Governor Carstens in the National Economic Sector, and for the past few months he has worked in Grupo Cinco, a publicity agency. This fall he will start his MBA in the Tuck School of Business.

Iván Elizondo

Biomedical Engineering Student
He is currently 24 years old and is a Biomedical Engineer specialized in investigation and innovation.

Student
He is a senior at ASFM and looks forward to start his career in Columbia University this fall. His passions include history, politics, and education.

José Hernán Zambrano

Co-Founder of Galt Energy
Co-founder and CEO of Galt Energy. This company has paved the way for the use of solar energy in Mexican homes.

Larisa Morales

Student/Professional Wakeboarder
She is an IB high school student, and future freshman of Wharton School of Business at UPenn. She is a professional wakeboarder and a Red Bull Athlete. Also, a Pan American and National wakeboard champion.

Nacho Llantada

Musician
He is a musician, businessman, author, speaker, and athlete. He is a vocalist of the Mexican band, Los Claxons, a band with more than 12 years in the business resulting in successful tours around Mexico, United States and Canada. They have been nominated twice for the Latin Grammys, in 2010 and 2012. He is the author of the book “Este libro no está terminado.” Our speaker is a passionate triathlete, he completed his first IronMan this past October. He is also a leader of the movement Notas de Acero which support different associations like Nuevo Amanecer, Destellos de Luz and Amanec. He strives to foment optimism, self-discovery, and advocacy in his community

Paco Segovia

Actor/Teacher
He is an ASFM alumnus and graduated from the Tec as a mechanical engineer. During his university years he did theatre and fell in love with the dramatic arts. Paco Segovia worked as a professional actor with televisa in plays, music videos, and films. He later earned a master’s degree in Classical Acting in the Central School of Speech and Drama in London. Back in Monterrey, Segovia continued working as an actor and began teaching at ASFM, having completed his second master’s degree in Education through the Buffalo State University.

Sofía García

Student
She is a senior at ASFM and is truly moved by the complexity behind linguistics since she was a child. She will be attending the University of Chicago.

Tomás Lankenau

Pre-Med Student
Current med student, researcher, musician, writer, poet, mountain climber, and a Scrubs and Smash Brothers enthusiast. He is a tall human being, unusual, curious, positive, nihilist, and grateful/fortunate individual. He dreams of working with the human brain throughout his medical career, striving to continuously learn and decrease suffering around him.

Yanel González

Facilitator
Yanel has been practicing contemplative techniques since 2000 under guidance of teachers like Alan Wallace and Marco Antonio Karam. She is certified Mindfulness facilitator and is a mentor in the establishment of contemplative practices in UCLA. She is also certified in Compassion Cultivation Training by Stanford University. She earned a master’s in humanistic studies from Tec de Monterrey and is currently a mindfulness and compassion facilitator at AtentaMente Consultores A.C., a Mexican organization that believes in cultivating open minds and that every person can contribute to global change.
