We are excited to present our 6th annual TEDx Youth Day at The School! TEDxYouth events are designed to empower and inspire young people to make change in the world. The day will be filled with speakers and hands-on workshops, geared to power the imagination and challenge students to think about this year's theme, "Made in the Future!" The event will be open to all TSC students, alumni, parents, faculty, staff and guests.

The GSTA is a next-generation gender justice organization that empowers and trains queer, trans and allied youth leaders to advocate, organize, and mobilize an intersectional movement for safer schools and healthier communities.

The Marching Cobras

The Mission of Cobra Performing Arts, Inc. is to enrich lives of youth by providing opportunities for artistic expression and leadership development through music, marching band, step, dance, and much more. Culturing teens through music and the performing arts which is a language that crosses generations as well as social, economic, and racial barriers. Our staff takes pride in developing the lives of our members by helping them become responsible and respected members of society.

Humza Deas

Humza Deas, was born in Brooklyn, New York, on March 12, 1997. Early on he knew he wanted to be a professional skateboarder. At the early age of ten years old he dedicated himself to being the best skateboarder he could be. That is, until he discovered photography at the age of seventeen when a friend let him borrow his camera. Dreams change. Since the first day he began taking pictures, he knew he had found his true passion.

Mira Modi

From Fortune Magazine: Mira Modi may be only 11, but she already has a cybersecurity business. The service, called DiceWare, helps provide people with secure passwords for just $2. Modi, who lives in New York City and is in sixth grade, uses a method dubbed Diceware to come up with passwords for her clients. The method works like this: “You roll a die 5 times and write down each number,” according to her website, www.dicewarepasswords.com. “Then you look up the resulting five-digit number in the Diceware dictionary, which contains a numbered list of short words.”
