Nick Mitchell

MRHS Student
Nicholas Mitchell, better known as Nick Mitchell, is a standard human originating from the suburban jungle of Lake Zurich, Illinois. His quest to obtain cognizant understanding of the world began soon after his existence, upon which he found the joys of experience. Specifically, Nick took interest in the fields of science, ranging from evolutionary biology to astrophysics. Any and everything pertaining to empirical or theoretical investigations of the universe were at the forefront of his brain. That is, until he discovered philosophy. Its ability to make him question surroundings abstractly drew upon not only the fields of science, but instead every aspect of human understanding. Around this time he found a deep connection to nature and the outdoors, frequenting the local wilderness of his American homeland. His foray into nature resulted in his spiritual fulfillment, which he was able to apply to all walks of his insignificant terrestrial existence.

While expanding his knowledge is his own highest priority, he also has interest in physical fitness. He has been running for over 7 years, and was a part of MRHS’s varsity cross country team for four years. He has been a captain of this team ever since his sophomore year.
