TEDxUofM is an unprecedented moment in time where we invite 1700 people to collectively re-imagine the University of Michigan. Not simply as a place, but as one of the most expansive knowledge networks in the world.

This is an opportunity for students to connect to this institution in a unique and inspiring way that would otherwise not be found in a classroom. A chance to grow closer to understanding one’s passions and cultivating a sense of purpose for being at this University.

Certain experiences change something deep inside of us--a chemical reaction in the brain--and when we look back on our past, we realize that all of our standards and expectations for our future have been raised a notch. Our attendees will be hearing from over twenty remarkable people (all University of Michigan affiliated) over the course of the day, but when the sun sets after five…this is about "Encouraging Your Crazy Ideas".
