It is hard to believe, but TEDxMaschsee has now passed the magical first year! We are thrilled to see that the group is still growing as is our organization team.
Without further ado, here is our next event: Free Salon next Thursday, 23rd of July!
Journalists and photographers are giving their best to document stories all over the world to inform, educate and entertain us. Some of them are risking their lives, either by the places they travel to or by the content of their work. We have an astonishing selection of talks that will bring you to places you have never been and most probably will never be able to go.
But wait, why we send journalists to war regions? Do we need to take pictures or action? And can their reports ever come close to reality? And, talking about reality, can pictures in the age of Photoshop be trusted anyways? How does Social Media link to real-time news coverage and which role do we play in that?
There is a lot to discuss and we are sure that the diversity of our salon is a unique opportunity you do not want to miss!
