TEDxFlourCity is a group of local volunteers committed to bringing inspiration, extraordinary innovation and unusual perspectives to light in Rochester. Our goal: provide a forum for participants to connect and foster great ideas.

It's with this mentality that we will have our first TEDxFlourCitySalon at Carlson CoWork, a local coworking space that shares a similar vision. Carlson is an ecosystem of self-employed professionals whose outcomes are furthered by the unique personalities and expertise in their membership. This curated two hour event will use the shared experience of TED Videos and TEDx activities to highlight the quirkiness in the individual and its importance to belonging.

Whether you watch TED talks regularly or you need a way to make it through the week, join the conversation and explore a hidden gem of a new space. It will be our first event since over 400 people filled Kilbourn Hall for TEDxFlourCity 2015: Branch Out, a day-long conference featuring 18 speakers on May 30th.
