In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Deng Queddeng

Deng is an achiever. She was awarded the Gawad Ariston Estrada from Gawad Lasalyano for exhibiting exemplary dedication in her craft and her leadership in the student media group Malate Literary Folio. She is a volunteer for the Edicate Incorporated, which focuses in providing educational aid to the Mangyan tribes of Mindoro. Like most of us, she doesn’t like going on a diet. When she can, she travels, stacks her undeveloped film rolls, and jumps from one reading material to another.

Marla Miniano

Marla Miniano is the author of the young adult series Every Girl’s Guide and she greatly believes in the power of understanding, thinking, poetry and art. She tries to tackle one of the neglected aspects of our language that attacks our way of thought.

Mitch Cervantes

Mich Cervantes is an up-and-coming 20-year-old illustrator and comic artist. Her visual range includes illustration, comics, character design, concept art, graphic design and animation. Aside from her work with others, she actively works on a number of personal projects, including a series of self-published comics and zines. She is currently studying to complete a degree in Animation.

Samantha Sales

Samantha Sales is the co-founder of Dreamlist, a career platform for the passionate youth where they can find meaningful work in inspiring organizations. As managing partner of Dreamlist, she creates strategy, concepts, and content that resonate with the young generation — an increasingly important demographic for brands, companies, and organizations in the Philippines and the Asia Pacific region. Samantha speaks fervently about the role of the impassioned youth in building organizations and brands that stand the test of time. A writer, a public speaking and etiquette coach, and a passionate “millennial” herself, she continues to advocate the value of combining passion and hard work to attain success for the driven youth.

Sean Si

Sean Si is the CEO and Founder of SEO Hacker and Queryz (pronounced queereez). He’s a start-up, data analysis, urgency junkie, avid blogger who spends his time inspiring young entrepreneurs around the Philippines because well, he believes the youngsters are at the time of most potential. He is also said to like writing, is a fan of reading, playing basketball, designing, and drinking coffee during his spare time.
