Maureen Agena

ICT4D Consultant

Maureen Agena is a teacher, an ICT4D Consultant, a Tech enthusiast with over 7 years experience. She has worked with and in allsorts of organsiations from NGOs, UN Agencies, the World bank until recently when she founded DigiComm a ICT4D Solutions company dedicated to providing innovative, cost effective and result oriented ICt4D Solutions to organizations. Maureen Co-founded GirlGeek Kampala an initiative that seeks to bridge the Gender digital divide in Uganda by encouraging more girls to take on Tech courses and careers and make the use, access and adoption inclusive especially for Girls and Women. She is a member of several technology innovation review panels both locally and internationally and a founding member of ICT Association of Uganda. She has been listed among the influential women in ICT in Uganda. Maureen is passionate about anything Tech. She holds an Msc. Information Systems, a BSc Information Technology and has completed an MA Development Communication.
