Speakers

Speakers may not be confirmed. Check event website for more information.

Ben Nightingale

As a freshman in high school, Ben Nightingale made a decision no young person should make. Now, at 17 and in love with life, Ben knows how deadly the silence of suicide has become, and wants everyone to receive the same second chance.

Christian Li

Christian Li is a cool, young, Jazz musician whose talent emerged from an unlikely cultural background. He believes that improvisation is not only the key to Jazz, but an important aspect of a well-lived life.

Elaine Parker

Elaine Parker is an international expert on airline safety with a keen understanding for the safety demonstrations we receive before every flight. As a result, she has also become an expert of “situational awareness”, both on and off the aircraft.

Faith Muirhead

Faith Muirhead is more than an educator; she is a life-long learner. In her work to help teachers teach better, she discovered that there is more to learning than what we are taught.

Greg Beck

At the root of his many professional appointments and accomplishments, Greg Beck is a humanitarian. Through his journey of the worst of what happens to people he discovered that in our humanity it’s the seemingly little things that matter most; and we should encourage ourselves to do those little things.

Michelle Wallen

Michelle Wallen contends that taking a risk on ourselves leads to self-discovery. Her unconventional path toward personal wholeness is unsettling – and revealing.

Paul Mutolo

While Paul Mutolo is a scientist and an entrepreneur, he is, at his heart, an environmentalist who believes advancements in alternative energy haven’t come far enough. He is ever mindful of how the creation of energy, and not just the energy itself, affects the world around us.

Regi Carpenter

As a professional storyteller, Regi Carpenter tells, writes, and teaches her art with structure and uninhabited creativity. Her work with sick and dying children has taught her that, perhaps, there is only one real story, with thousands of variables.
