In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Andrei Ivanescu

Programmer, designer and architect, Andrei worked in Vienna for ONL Rotterdam and Coop Himmelb specializing in algorithm design and optimization. Back in Romania, he founded a project called Grasshopper Kindergarten, a community of architects and designers for knowledge sharing. Since 2014 he also co-founded Magnolia Scarves company.

Cătălin Frâncu

Sorina Lupu

Sorina Lupu graduated from the Faculty of Electronics in Bucharest. At age 15 she won two awards from NASA in US and recently has been awarded by the European Space Agency. Mountain guide, professional alpinist for over 20 years, motivational speaker, Zsolt is one of the best technical alpinists in Romania. He cheated death, being on mount Everest during Nepal Earthquake from May 2015.
