Theme: CONFLATION

My event's theme is "CONFLATION". Here is a short description of this theme.
"We all know that this world is full of incredible things which are brought about by the combination of different elements. Some are combined for a reason, but some are not. And no one can explain!
It is the same for us when sometimes we come up with abnormal ideas that we cannot give a specific reason. And most of the time, we ignore or refute them.
But have you ever wondered what would happen if we do realize those ideas? Perhaps it is nonsensical, unimaginable or absolutely unrelated. However, it may give birth to a one-of-a-kind wonder.
That is Conflation, which means to blend together.
Conflation - it is magical. "

The things that make this event stand out are that in the event, we are going to have a small exhibition of the old Saigon, also known as Ho Chi Minh City now, which can show the local side of this TEDxYouth event. Moreover, there are very interesting game booths which help to connect all the attendees together; for instance, wire loop game or some brain games. One more thing, this event is held at Eden Star Hotel, which is widely considered as a world class venue in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Chi Bao Pham Gia

He is the Director of the "Understanding about the Heart" fund. The fund was founded in 2012 to assist educational and charity programs for cardio-disorder-diagnosed and misfortune children in Vietnam. In the fund, he is dedicated to sharing his experience to assist youth find their life goals, hosting fundraising sessions and bringing opportunities to children through the fund programs. He is also an actor with many prestigious awards in Vietnam such as: Golden Apricot Blossom Awards for Favorite TV Series and Movie Actor, Vietnamese Golden Kite Award for Best Actor - Feature film, Golden Apricot Blossom Awards for Theatrical Actor, etc.

Huu Chi Do

Founder and Program Director of Toa Tau Creative Learning Hub He is a Vietnamese comic artist/illustrator. Since 2006 he has been working for several major publishers and magazines in Vietnam. In 2011 he was granted the Fulbright scholarship to study in the U.S. After finishing his MFA in Sequential Art at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Chi came back to Viet Nam to start his own project Vẽ Kể Chuyện (Drawing for Storytellers). Chi is living and working in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Mike is currently leading TicketBox.vn - Vietnam's leading online ticketing platform - Ticketbox.vn is a proud 500startup's portfolio company that is currently based in South East Asia. Mike is also a steering member of StartMeUp - a startup/entrepreneurship community and resource in Vietnam & Rewind - a social club with monthly meet-up activities for oversea educated working professional in Vietnam.
