Theme: 21.2 century

This event occurred on

Seoul, Seoul Teugbyeolsi
South Korea

The theme of the 8th TEDxSNU event is '21.2 century'. 21.2 century is a coined term that represents the second ten years of the 21st century or the 2010s. As the speed of social change accelerates, dividing history by the century is an anachronistic concept. A hundred years is too broad to capture the immense changes our society goes through every day.
To clearly understand our most recent ten years, we wish to invite inspiring speakers, who are leaders in their field, creating new futures as we speak. In addition, we wish to look at the 21.2 century in various perspectives. Just like anyone can become speakers at TED, we believe every person has their own version of the 21.2 century. All these ideas coming together at the 8th TEDxSNU event, we will be able to have a better look of our past, present, and future.
