Theme: Tomorrow Starts Today

In a one-of-its-kind initiative, YCDA Ouargla gets inspired to organize the first TEDx event in the entire Algerian South.
TEDx Ouargla, a local conference, independently organized by a group of ambitious youths who believe in creating a better future in Algeria, in Ouargla particularly.

TEDx Ouargla, this unique initiative, will allow the local community to share intense moments of inspiration, to open a panoramic window on the city and the region.

Because today’s youths are those who will revive our tomorrows, our children’s tomorrows, TEDx Ouargla will hold the slogan “Tomorrow Starts Today” in a striking wiliness to create moments of anchor in the present and a wide vision of the future, throughout our southern potentials; wealth, human resources and innovation.

TEDx Ouargla will feature a diversity of topics in different domains assured by experts, professors, innovators, as well as ambitious and motivated youngsters.

TEDx Ouargla will embrace four main axes:
• Art & culture;
• Architecture and Tourism;
• Agriculture;
• Sciences and Renewable Energies.
More than 12 speakers are expected.

Nacer Mohammed Chrif Tayeb

Nacer is a Proud Algerian with a career purely led by his endless curiosity and passion to towards new challenges. Right after his graduation from the Institute of Electrical Engineering (Ex-Inelec) where he specialized in Control and Robotics, he received the prestigious scholarship "Fulbright" and got his Masters in Public Administration from Montana State University in the United States. In parallel to all that, Nacer was very active both locally and internationally in the world of associations and NGO's, which got him the chance to work with many international organizations.

Reda, a tutor at Kasdi Merbah University in Ouargla. He recently received his PHD in Chemical Engineering. A member of Association Algérienne de Physique (AAP) and Société Algérienne de Chimie (SAC). Reda has organized many local and national scientific events, has delivered a variety of communications, and he has published many books and papers
