15-year-old Dillon Havins cut his performing teeth at the Antone’s Monday night blues jams in Austin. He is an accomplished singer, songwriter, and blues guitarist. In 2012, he was featured in NBC’s America’s Got Talent as one of the top 100 acts in the US. In 2014, he and his youth band competed and won to represent Austin at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN. Mary Jennings Hegar

Purple Heart Recipient + Author + Executive Coach + Consultant
Major Mary Jennings Hegar was on her third tour to Afghanistan as a rescue pilot in 2009 when she was shot down on a Medevac mission and sustained wounds resulting in her being awarded the Purple Heart. Her actions on this mission saved the lives of her crew and patients, earning her the Distinguished Flying Cross with Valor Device. In 2012, Major Hegar filed suit against the Secretary of Defense asserting that the Combat Exclusion Policy was unconstitutional and won her case in 2013 when the Secretary of Defense repealed the Policy effective immediately.

She received her AB from the College of Charleston, her MAT from The Citadel and taught in Europe as well as South Carolina and Kentucky. An active environmentalist, her goal is to practice sustainable agriculture techniques and to encourage others to do the same. She lives on Sullivan’s Island, SC with Josie, her Boykin Spaniel, and Bart, the cat.
