Theme: It's time to shift the balance!

This event occurred on
June 10, 2015
10:00am - 8:00pm CEST
(UTC +2hrs)
Barcelona, Catalunya (ca)
Spain

We consider that each of us is a balance maker! And we want to highlight 4 different areas to tackle as a priority.

First: MONEY
Studies show it is profitable to invest in women. Yet, women entrepreneurs struggle finding investment, lack visibility and access to funds. This session will showcase initiatives challenging this situation.

INVEST IN WOMEN. INVEST IN EQUITY!

Second: MEDIA
Women are still largely underrepresented in traditional media. Our speakers will show how they challenge the way women are portrayed in movies, TV or Internet. Changing the narrative.

THIRD: Get men involved in gender equity!
To follow up on last year's theme, we will invite active men feminists to explain why their support the fight for a more equal society.

FOURTH: Women rocking science
Women leading investigators or tech entrepreneurs are paving the way towards innovation. New role models for the generation to come.

So what do YOU do to shift the balance?
