After the successful launch TEDxHRCollege in March, 2014; H.R. College brings back to you the independently organised TEDx event on 7th February, 2015.

At TEDxHRCollege, Live Speakers and TED Talks combine to spark deep discussion and connections. Our TEDx event is operated under a license from TED, New York.

Our speakers are curated based purely on their ideas, we believe no one is too big or too small to have an "Idea Worth Spreading"
The speakers at TEDxHRCollege 2015 are just superb, with the perfect combination of well-known personalities and new, undiscovered ideas.

This year, over 500 people applied for just 100 available seats at TEDxHRCollege. These applicants were carefully curated based on a series of strategic questions. These lucky 100 got a chance to experience a one of a kind, carefully curated event, meet these amazing speakers and network with some of the best minds.

Why do we have only 100 seats?
We at TEDxHRCollege aim at creating a niche community of bright minds, who come together to stimulate discussions and showcase the power of ideas. This particular size ensures a conducive & intimate environment that enhances the TEDx experience as per TED guidelines.

We're excited to be a TEDx licensee and are looking forward to introducing TEDxHRCollege as an annual event with each year better than the last!

Preeti Vangani

I started writing poetry in 2010 and used to carry a folder full of typed white sheets to various open mics in Mumbai, hoping that people would ask me to read one more poem if they were happy with the first one. In the beginning, most of my poems used to suffocate with 'being a poem' as I dressed them up to fit in rhyme and force them to end on a pensive note among other baggage tropes. And then almost simultaneously I attended a workshop by a spoken word artist in Mumbai (Rochelle D'Silva) and started seeing videos from around the world where poets simply pen down their most vulnerable stories without many traditional constraints of writing. Thus began my journey of finding and penning stories, that lay inside of me, rather than those cooked in a classroom. And I travelled with these words to cities like New York and Chicago, only to stay reassured that world over, spoken word poets are bound by no rules of writing, except bringing to stage your heart in its exact condition.
