Themed "Making Ideas Happen", the inaugural event showcases ideas and experiences from individuals of all walks of life who have overcome obstacles to achieve their dreams. The hope for TEDxChangiAirportGroup is that it becomes a local forum for sharing ideas within the CAG community that inspire people to change their lives, their futures, their company and ultimately, their world.

Pamela Ho

Pamela Ho is a writer, editor and former journalist. She is the recipient of four Journalism Awards, and her article *Her(Story) of Singapore* - tracing how far the Singapore Woman has come since 1965 - was nominated for 'Feature Story of the Year' at the 2008 MediaCorp News Awards. In 2011, Pamela took a year off to travel the world and write a book –“Adventures of 2 Girls”, co-writing with Ning Cai. Pamela is currently Editor of *The A List*, a local arts magazine.

Ning Cai

Formerly known as award-winning illusionist/escape artist 'Magic Babe' Ning, Ning Cai made waves when she chose to retire from the international magic scene at the very height of her career. The gung-ho Singaporean is no stranger to the media, with many successful world-record feats under her belt. Besides having a successful magic career, Ning has published two books and is a seasoned world traveller.

Ken Yuktasevi

Ken has a natural passion for storytelling and people. This has led to a unique and compelling perspective in his work, transforming organisations and brands to communicate from the inside out. Some of his recent work includes leading the winning team for the worldwide design competition for Singapore Airlines’ SilverKris Lounge, using an Experience Design approach that addressed user needs at the heart of travel. He also led the workplace strategy design at the Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX), integrating organisational, physical and Experience Design for the organisation.

Scott Bales

Originally from Australia, Scott currently runs a boutique advisory firm in Singapore. Recognised as “the most influential in the advancement of financial services and mobility”, he moved from one technology venture to the next, all the while weaving in the evolution of the growth in mobile usage by consumers. With over ten years of international experience in innovation, thought leadership, implementation planning, and strategy, he has built a reputation as a sought-after consultant and speaker with the ability to communicate unorthodox ideas with passion and charisma.

Beng Chia Aik

Also known as ABC, Aik Beng Chia started -photography in 2008 after buying his iPhone 2G. His photos focus on the daily lives of people on the streets of Singapore, and they have been exhibited and published internationally, most recently in 2012 at the Invisible Photographer Asia (IPA) Gallery. In 2013, he launched his first monograph "Tonight The Streets Are Ours" published by the Invisible Photographer Asia, which showed Singapore's Little India after dusk.

Adib Jalal

Adib Jalal is a design curator, urban activator and writer with an interest in design, cities, place, community, family and food. Most of his time and work is a continued exploration of turning urban and domestic spaces into meaningful and memorable places. Adib also occasionally writes for design publications, and his work has been featured in various publications including Monocle Magazine and events such as the Kaohsiung Design Festival, the Venice Architectural Biennale and the World Architecture Festival.

Jeffrey Cheong

He is first a father of 3 lovely kids, a community activist, a story-teller, an ad man, a social media junkie and above all, a passionate Singaporean.

Jin Zwicky

Jin Zwicky is a design practitioner and strategist making ‘simplicity and beauty’ happens in banking industry. She challenges the way banks use design as a tool and has demonstrated the power of design in driving business successes for leading financial services companies in Asia and Europe. She is currently Vice President at OCBC bank in Singapore, leading customer experience design initiatives for Gen Y banking (FRANK by OCBC), retail banking, insurance and wealth management businesses.

Shiao-Yin Kuik

Together with her two founding partners, Kuik Shiao-Yin runs a Singapore-based group of social businesses known as The Thought Collective, whose mission is to build up the social and emotional capital of their city. Outside of the Collective, she is currently serving the public sector as a Nominated Member of Parliament, as well as a Board Member of SCAPE*. Shiao-Yin speaks regularly on innovation, entrepreneurship, creativity, the power of personal story and the need for courage under fire, at various universities, corporations, churches, workshops and conferences.

Anna Lim

Anna Lim founded The Soup Spoon out of her love for soup. A self-taught cook, hence the quirky title of Souperchef, she believes that cooking is not only an art but science. Traveling and getting to know people of different cultures is her inspiration catalyst! Anna believes that The Soup Spoon can be the global soup model and the "Starbucks" of soups -whipping up unique soups, based on inspirations and traditions and infusing them both.

Andy Gurnett

With 18 years of training experience- in 14 countries, Andy Gurnett is known for his legendary presentation and facilitation skills. He believes in neither cookie-cutter courses nor boring lectures, opting instead for a supportive training environment where people have the freedom to experiment. To Future Think, he brings an easygoing yet purposeful style that has translated into successful programmes for Bloomberg, Deloitte, Chevron, and Singapore Airlines.

Calvin Soh

An accomplished local creative, Calvin Soh has chalked up a list of accolades and senior agency titles to his name. Before starting his own agency Ninety Nine Percent, Calvin held a number of senior roles at agencies such as Fallon and Saatchi & Saatchi. His last role before starting Ninety Nine Percent was vice-chairman and chief creative officer for Asia at Publicis.

Nurul Taha

Nurul Taha was the first Singaporean to represent Singapore in Boccia at the 2012 London Paralympic Games. She is currently on a sabbatical from her tax career to train full-time in Boccia, with the aim of qualifying for the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games. Nurul is a strong advocate of an inclusive society that allows people with challenged mobility to be meaningful contributors in the society. She was conferred the Singapore Youth Award in July 2014.

Alison Jean Lester

Alison Jean Lester is from the United States, but has lived in Asia for the last 23 years. She has spent over a dozen years performing and teaching comic improvisation, regularly -using improvisation exercises in her creativity and communication workshops when she was a corporate trainer. She is now a writer, and her first novel, Lillian on Life, was published early January 2015 in the United States.

Stuart Smith

Stuart Smith is an expert in service transformation and innovation. His experience spans major private and public-sector clients around the world. Stuart was employed as a consultant advising organisations on environmental monitoring and policy. During the dot.com boom, Stuart was headhunted to join a major global telecoms firm working in an "Internet Centric" service strategy team.This team developed and delivered some of the most ambitious service innovation projects of the time primarily using internet based technologies.
