In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

As a professor of New Media Studies at Alma College. Dr. Anthony Collamati understands the importance of cameras and their importance to the world today.

After pursuing degrees in biology & English at Alma College, Caitlin joined Emory University's Office of Sustainability Initiatives, working to promote and expand the university's award-winning green programming.

As a middle school teacher, mother, and farmer, Colleen is always on the move. But as a small town farmer she knows the benefits to sustainable farming and food rights.

Elise Hilton

Elise had a daughter who has abducted and entered the world of human trafficking at an early age. She has spent the years since this tragedy advocating for the rights of these humans, and telling these often forgotten stories.

Grant Fry

Jenise Cardinal-Donnelly

Jenise M. Cardinal-Donnelly holds a B.A. in Secondary Education, an English Major and Group Social Science Minor, from Alma College (1997), a M.S. in Middle Level Education from Walden University and an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from Central Michigan University. She spent fourteen years teaching at the middle and high school level until she returned to Alma College to teach with the Education Department.

Jeremy Hyler

Jeremy Hyler is a 7th/8th grade language arts teacher at Fulton-Middleton Schools. He works with 120 students on a daily basis as well as being the co-chair for the language arts department. In addition to his teaching duties, he is the Co-Director for the Chippewa River Writing Project a satellite site of the National Writing Project (NWP).

Laura Asiala

Passionate about the power of business to solve-or help solve-the world’s most intransigent problems, she leads the efforts to attract more participation of businesses to contribute to the sustainable development, through their people and their work.

Phil Andre

Phil is continuing to pursue his education for his doctorate. During his education he has had the opportunity to study the male identity in detail.
