Amit Kapoor

Dr. Amit Kapoor is a Ph.D in Industrial Economics and Business Strategy and is the President and CEO of India Council on Competitiveness, Honorory Chairman of the Institute for Competitiveness, India and Editor-in-Chief of Thinkers (Magazine). Amit has understood the realities of Indian and global cities through his research, travel and several awards and speaking invitations at global universities and institutions. He has also authored the India City Competitiveness Report, India State Competitiveness Report, India Manufacturing Competitiveness Report, India State Sustainability Report, Livability Report et al.

Annurag Batra

Anurag Batra is the Managing Director and Editor in Chief of the Exchange4Media Group, which includes exchange4media.com, PITCH, IMPACT, Realty Plus and Franchise Plus. He is an entrepreneur, media expert and a journalist rolled into one. Annurag is a B.Tech in Computer Sciences, a degree, which he acquired before joining Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon, one of India's leading Business School. In early 2005, Indira Group of Institutes in Pune awarded Mr.Batra as the Young Marketer of the Year. Followed by which, he also received the “Most Distinguished Alumni of the Decade Award” in 2006 by the prestigious Management Development Institute (MDI) and his Alma Mater.

Ashif Shaikh

Ashif Shaikh is the convener of Rashtirya Gairma Abhiyan (The National Campaign for Dignity and Eradication of Manual Scavenging) and Founder of Jan Sahas (a human rights organisation). Ashif has started a movement to end the inhuman practice of Manual Scavenging in 104 districts in India. During the past decade his organisation has liberated 16,000 women and given them access to a healthy, dignified livelihood and social recognition. Ashif has further worked towards elimination of untouchability from Indian society and has ended untouchability practice from 4200 public places in India. Ashif received the M.A. Thoms National Human Right Award 2012, Sadbhavana Award 2005, Social Brewery Award 2013 by Sony TV and Jio Dil Se (Social Development) Award 2014.

Darshak Hathi

Darshak Hathi is a social activist leader whose mission is to reform India into a Socio-Culturally evolved, economically self reliant nation. An entreprenuer with a flourishing IT business, Darshak Hathi gave up his business to join the Art of Living Foundation and served as an International Director since 2001. Darshak has since addressed the UN International Forum and has trained over 100,000 youth leaders to become change agents and leaders in their communities. In 2012, there was a drought situation in Marathawada in the state of Maharashtra leading to farmer suicides. To tackle this, Darshak initiated Jal Jagruti Abhiyan, a drive to revive the water bodies in the region through community participation. This work was done across 10 districts of Maharashtra. As a result of which, six rivers have been rejuvenated.

Dhruv Visvanath

Dhruv is a fingerstyle guitar player who has released several solo albums and been the subject of several popular Youtube videos. He played his first guitar at age 13 and began to draw influence from McKee. Konda Vishweshwar Reddy

Konda Vishweshwar Reddy is a Member of Parliament from Chevella Constituency, Telangana and the Chairperson of the WASH Legislators Forum. Before joining politics, Mr. Reddy was an engineer by profession, he has a Master’s degree in Engineering from the United States of America and worked as an adjunct faculty in the New Jersey Institute of Technology, N.J., Essex County College,Newark,U.S.A. Having returned from the USA, he worked as C.E.O. & Managing Director of Wipro Healthcare I.T.Ltd., and C.E.O. & Managing Director of GE Medical Systems Information Technology and was the Managing Director, Citadel Research and Solutions, Ltd. He has a number of patents and copy rights registered to his credit

P B Salim

Mr. P.B. Salim joined the Indian Administrative Services at the age of 25 years, after giving up his profession as a biotechnology scientist with Glaxo-Smith Kline Pharma in Bangalore. Driven by a mission to serve the society Mr. Salim has served in several administrative cadre across the country as a District Collector and District Magistrate. Born in Muvattupuzha in Ernakulam district, P.B. Salim, in his own words has "found himself by losing himself in the service of the society."

Pankhuri Awasthi

Pankhuri Awasthi is a popular TV Host, actor, poet and singer. In recent times Pankhuri’s spoken word poetry against discrimination and sexual violence against women – popularly known as the “Rap against Rape” – went viral on youtube. Her journey with social media activism, however had started many years before that with her love for animals. Pankhuri started her TV anchoring career in the year 2012 with a hugely popular show on Channel (V) called Style Junkie which she co-hosted with VJ Andy. Post this she hosted a fashion based show on UTV Stars called Style Addict . She later played the second lead in Prabhudeva's commercial caper 'Ramaiyya Vastavaiyya' starring Girish Kumar and Shruti Haasan. She has been trained on western vocals and hindustani classical training from the Kumar Gandharva Gharana. She has now released a few singles – including 'echoes of pain' in collaboration with Delon under the moniker of Bombaeb.

Raja Choudhury

Raja Choudhury is a National Film Award winning Indian documentary filmmaker and creator of multimedia installations and Websites, some of which have received Webby Awards. He produces international documentary films on Indian wisdom, history, innovation and consciousness and his 2013 film The Quantum Indians was awarded the 2014 National Film Award for Best Educational Film. He is also the producer of the films "Yoga: Harmony with Nature" for the UN International Day of Yoga and "The Great Indian Mind" (under production) on Indian innovation and ideas through the ages. Through his Webby Award (twice) winning boutique agency C3CUBE, Raja advises major foundations and corporations - The Ministry of External Affairs, tGELF, The Shift Network (USA), Alchemist Group, Institute for Competitiveness - on Digital and Social Media, Video and Communications. Raja lives between New Delhi and New York and is a TED@Bangalore speaker on "Indian Wisdom for Today's World."

Sangita Vyas

Sangita is broadly interested in the politics and economics of inequality and making services work in India. She grew up in Dallas, Texas, and received a BS from the University of Pennsylvania. After college, Sangita spent several years working in New York in economic consulting but soon became discontent and moved to India where she oversaw a randomized evaluation of a micro-insurance program for farmers in Gujarat with the Centre for Microfinance. Sangita holds an MPA in Economics and Public Policy with a Concentration in Urban Policy from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School.

Shibani Kashyap

Shibani Kashyap, is a renowned singer, composer and a performer who has generated ripples with her albums, performances and Bollywood compositions. She is accredited with being the only woman singer-composer of her time, as well as the only playback singer who regularly featured on the silver screen. Shibani, has recently performed at the 45th Independence day of Mauritius, in Mauritius having the President of India as the guest of honor, Prime Minister of Mauritius and many dignitaries as the audience. Shibani has also performed for the opening ceremony of the Common Wealth Games 2010 in New Delhi and has performed for the Pravasiya Bharatiya Divas at Canada in the year 2011.

Srinivas Chary

Prof V. Srinivas Chary is the Director, Centre for Urban Governance, Environment and Infrastructure Development at the Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI), Hyderabad, India, a leading think tank on public policy. He specializes in policy analysis and capacity building for better service delivery with special focus on water and sanitation. He was a member of the Steering Committee on Urbanisation established by the Planning Commission for drafting approach paper for the 12th Five Year Plan (2012-2017). He is also a global steering committee member of the City Protocol and Smart City initiative of Barcelona

Sushant Kalra

Sushant is the founder of Parwarish Institute of Parenting, institute for educating parents on child development. His work is focused on a unique early child development framework, which surprisingly is applicable to adults as well. He has been conducting the workshops on Body Science with parents and adolescents for last 2 years.

Vaibhav Singh

Vaibhav is an incoming MBA student at Harvard Business School. For the last three years, he has been working for Providence Equity Partners, a leading global private equity firm focused on media, telecom and technology investments. Vaibhav is also the Co-Founder of Delhi+Acumen, a volunteer-led group supporting Acumen’s mission of creating a world beyond poverty. Acumen is a leading global non-profit venture capital fund. Vibha Bakshi

Vibha Bakshi is a National Award winning filmmaker and Co-Producer / Co-Director with Oscar winner Maryann DeLeo. A former business reporter for CNBC, Vibha has studied Journalism and Broadcasting from Boston University and New York University. Vibha's passion lies in making films which change lives...one story at a time. Her films have been aired on HBO and Lifetime TV in the United States. Her recent film - DAUGHTERS OF MOTHER INDIA is an Indian filmmaker's journey through the aftermath of the horrific rape and murder of a 23 year old medical intern named Nirbhaya, in Delhi on 16th December 2012. This movie went on to win the National Award for Best Film on Social Issues in 2015.
