Michelle Atterby

Life Coach - Director and Founder of Spirit Gate Farm
Michelle Atterby is founder and director of Spirit Gate Farms in the Cowichan Valley. A lifelong horsewoman, her coaching and group work are on the forefront of Equine Facilitated Leadership Development. Michelle was a top-ranking national level athlete with ten years in the fitness and health industry, hosting a weekly fitness segment for CHECK news and fitness coach for the DND. She has a four-year diploma in Energy Medicine & Somatic Therapy and a four-year diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has been practicing and teaching meditation for the past fifteen years. Her background with horses includes extensive training in Equine Experiential Learning, Natural Horsemanship and equine psychology. Michelle MacLaren

Director, Producer
Michelle MacLaren started as a production assistant working her way up through locations, assistant directing, and production managing to Producing and Directing. Michelle has produced 11 made for television movies, becoming an Executive Producer when she co-wrote the CBS movie “Music from the Heart”. Michelle has been an Executive Producer and Co-Executive Producer in series television on such shows as, Breaking Bad, The X-Files, Harsh Realm, and the “Night Stalker” pilot. While Executive Producing Breaking Bad, Michelle directed 11 episodes of the Emmy winning series. Michelle began directing on the X-Files and has directed shows for NBC, CBS, FOX, ABC, TNT, Starz as well as multiple episodes of AMC’s The Walking Dead, HBO’s Game of Thrones and an episode of HBO’s The Leftovers. Founder of Belief Trumps Talent
Scott Carr is a trainer, mentor, coach, and founder of Belief Trumps Talent (BTT). He’s built athletic and academic programs in international schools throughout Asia and has pursued a passion to make learning as current and applicable to the ‘real world’ as is possible. As he raises his 6, 8 and 11 year old daughters ‘solo’, he looks to pioneer mindset education and philosophies to help both youth and parents achieve harmony in their relationships while reaching their true potential. Scott has inspired hundreds of students from over 30 nationalities to learn how to seek balance and perspective in their lives and to develop the mindsets that allow them to achieve their best possible results.
